dc.description.abstractÖZET NON-PARABOLİK ANİZOTROP YARIİLETKEN FİLMLERDE KUANT-BOYUT OLAYLARI SANCAK, Nurettin Yüksek Lisans Tezi, Fizik Ana Bilim Dalı Tez Danışmanı: Prof. Dr. Bahşeli GULİYEV Ocak 2001, 52 sayfa Boyuta göre kuantumlanma koşulunu sağlayan non-parabolik enerji bölgeli yarıiletken ince filmlerde Fermi enerjisinin film kalınlığına bağlı davranışı incelenmiştir. Dejenere durum için Fermi enerjisinin; non-parabolik parametresine, anizotropi parametresine ve film kalınlığına bağlı genel formülü bulunmuş ve farklı durumlar için incelenmiştir. Fermi enerjisinin kalınlığa bağlı non-monoton değiştiği tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca Fermi enerjisinin film kalınlığa bağlı davranışı, aniiî-'tropinin etkisiyle değiştiği görülmüştür. Anahtar kelime: Kane yaklaşımı, Cohen modeli, Non-parabolik enerji.
dc.description.abstractABSTRACT IN NON-PARABOLIC ANISOTROPY SEMICONDUCTOR FILMS QUANT-DIMENSION EFFECTS SANCAK, Nurettin Msc, Physics Department Supervisor: Prof. Dr. Bahşeli GULİYEV January 200 1, 52 pages In semi conducting films, which have non-parabolic energy zone and produce the condition of quantitative view respect to dimension the behavior of the Fermi energy depending on the thickness of the film has been investigated. In this study, the dependence of the Fermi energy on the non-parabolic parameter, the anisotropy parameter, and the thickness of the film has been investigated and general formula about the Fermi energy related to them have been developed for different cases. It is found that the Fermi energy is changed as non-monoton with the thickness of the film. Also the behavior of the Fermi energy depended on the thickness of the film has been found that anisotropy effect is influential on it.
