Mehmed Emin Vahid Paşa hayatı, eserleri, vakfiyesi ve kütüphanesi

Abstract

Bu çalışma, Mehmed Emin Vahid Paşa'nın hayatını, vakfiyesini ve kütüphanesini incelemek üzere hazırlanmıştır. Mehmed Emin Vahid Paşa'nın hayatını incelemeden eserlerinin ve kütüphane kurma sebebinin tam olarak anlaşılamayacağı fikrinden hareketle, arşiv belgeleri ve başvuru kaynakları ışığında hayatı incelenmiş ve kendisine has özelliklerine çalışma içerisinde değinilmiştir. İlk aşamadan sonra vakfiye ve kitap listeleri transkribe edilerek incelenmiş ve son olarak da vakfiyelerde listelenen kitaplar güncel kitap listesi ile karşılaştırılarak günümüze intikal etmeyen kitaplar tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır.

This study was prepared for the purpose of researching life, charter of waqf and the library of Mehmed Emin Vahid Pasha. Based on the idea that his writings and the reasons of establishing a library might not be accurately understood without researching life of Mehmed Emin Vahid Pasha, his life was researched in the light of archive documents and reference materials and his specific features were mentioned in the study.
