Çatı bahçelerinin kentsel yerleşimlere katkısı ve teknik yönleri üzerinde durulmakta ve bazı örnekler tanıtılmaktadır. İnsanların çatı bahçeciliğine eğilimlerini öğrenmek için, Ankara'da yaşayan halkın anket yapılarak fikri alınmıştır. Böylece, anket sonuçlan da gözönünde bulundurularak, Ankara kenti için çatı bahçeciliğine yönelik öneriler getirilmektedir. A. in Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Supervisor: Prof. Dr. Sümer Giilez June, 1997 This study examines a way of creating green spaces in cities, that is roof gardening. Contributions of roof gardens to urban settlements and technical aspects of roof gardens are emphasized, and some examples are illustrated. People's tendency towards roof gardening are examined by conducting survey research with citizens of Ankara.
