Merinos, kıvırcık ve hampshire x kıvırcık melezi kuzuların entansif koşullardaki besi performansları

- 29 - 5. ÖZET Bu araştırma, Kıvırcık ve Merinos gibi yerli ırklarla Hampshire Kıvırcık melezlemesi sonucu elde edilen kuzuların entansif besi` koşullarında besi performanslarının saptanması ve her üç grubun karşılaştırılarak incelenmesi için düzenlenmiştir. Deneme materyalini 12-14 haftalık yaşta sütten kesilen erkek, 20 baş Merinos, 20 baş Kıvırcık ve 20 baş Hampshire X Kıvırcık melezi olmak üzere 60 baş kuzu oluşturmuştur. Bir `haftalık alıştırma döneminden sonra kuzulara grup yemlenmesi uygulanmış olup kesif yem karması ile adlibitum düzeyde yenilenmişlerdir. Besi başlangıç ağırlıkları sırasıyla; 25.4, 24.8, 26.3 kg olup Hampshire X Kıvırcık ve Kıvırcık kuzular arası fark istatistik önemli bulunmuştur (P < 0.05). 56 günlük besi süresi sonundaki canlı ağırlıklar ise sırasıyla; 42.7, 38.9, 41.2 kg olarak sap tanmış, melez kuzular ile Kıvırcık kuzuların arasındaki fark(P<([0.05) ile Kıvırcık kuzularla Merinos kuzular arasındaki fark (p/0.0l) önemli bulunmuştur. Kuzuların besi süresince sırasıyla toplam canlı ağırlık artışlarıl7.3, 14.1, 14.9 günlük ortalama canlı ağırlık artışları; 309.1, 252.2, 266.0 g> besi süresince kuzuların günlük ortalama kesif yem tüketimleri; 1.591, 1.524,1.519 kg 1 kg canlı ağırlık artışı için kesif yem tüketimleri ise 5.147, 6.043, 5.710 kg olarak saptanmıştır. Yapılan istatistik analizlere göre, kuzuların besi süresince top lam canlı ağırlık artışı, günlük ortalama canlı ağırlık artışı, besi süresince kuzuların günlük ortalama kesif yem tüketimleri bakımından gruplar arasında görülen farklılıklar istatistik önemli bulunmuştur. Besi materyalini oluşturan kuzularda ayrıca besi sonunda, cidago yüksekliği, vücut uzunluğu, göğüs derinliği, göğüs genişliği, but çevresi, ön sağrı genişliği, orta sağrı genişliği, arka sağrı genişliği ve ön incik çevresi gibi vücut ölçüleri saptanmış, ortalama değerler cetvel 6 'da verilmiştir.

30 6. SUMMARY This research was caried out in order to determine the fattening performance of 3 groups of lambs under intensive feeding conditions. One of the three groups was obtained from Hampshire X Kıvırcık crossing and the others were from native Kıvırcık and Merinos. In the research the various values for the three groups reflecting the fattening performance were compared. The material consists of 20 heads of Merinos, 20 heads of Kıvırcık and 20 heards of Hampshire X Kıvırcık crossbred male lambs which were weaned at 12-14 week of age. Group feeding were aplied for the lambs. They were fed at ad libi tum level with a concentrate feed mixture after one week adaptation peri od. Initial weights were 24.4, 24.8, 26.3 kg respectively. The diffe rence between Hampshire X Kıvırcık and Kıvırcık lambs was found to be sta tistically significant (P^.0.05) while the differences between Merinos and the other groups were unsignificant. At the end of fattening period (56 day) the average live weights were found as 42.7, 38.9, 41.2 kg respectively. At this period the diffe rence between the crossbreed lambs and the difference between Kıvırcık and Merinos (P<,0.01) were significant. During the fattening period total live weight gains; 17.3, 14.1, 14.9, daily live weight gains; 309.1, 252.2, 266.0 g, daily feed consump tion; 1.591, 1.524, 1.519 kg, feed consumption for 1 kg of live weight gain of the groups were determined as; 5.147, 6.043, 5.710 kg respectively.31 - Statistical analysis showed that the differences among the groups with respect to average daily gain, feed convertion and average feed consumption during the fattening period were significant. Apart from the above, some linear body measurements were taken and the average figures were tabulated at table 6.
