J. S. Bach viyolonsel süitlerinin müzik öğretmeni yetiştiren kurumlarda viyolonsel eğitimi bağlamında incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırma Johann Sebastian Bach viyolonsel süitlerinin müzik öğretmeni yetiştiren kurumlarda viyolonsel eğitimindeki kullanım durumunu ortaya koymak, bu süitlerin viyolonsel eğitiminde kaynak olarak kullanılmasına ilişkin öğretim elemanı ve öğrencilerin görüşlerine yer vermek ve aynı zamanda süitlerin viyolonsel eğitimi açısından teknik ve müzikal analizinin yapılması amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu doğrultuda araştırmaya veri sağlamak amacıyla Üniversitelerin Eğitim Fakültelerinin Güzel Sanatlar Eğitimi Bölümleri Müzik Eğitimi Anabilim Dallarında görev yapmakta olan viyolonsel öğretim elemanı ve öğrencilerine anket uygulanmış, süitlerin viyolonsel eğitimi bakımından teknik ve müzikal analizleri yapılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler doğrultusunda viyolonsel öğretim elemanları ve öğrencilerinin tamamının viyolonsel eğitiminde Bach viyolonsel süitlerine yer verilmesinin önemli ve gerekli olduğu görüşüne katıldıkları ve viyolonsel eğitiminde bu eserlere etkin bir şekilde yer verilmesinin öğrencilerin teknik ve müzikal becerilerinin gelişimine önemli katkı sağlayacağı görüşünde oldukları belirlenmiştir.

This study was intended to examine the use of J. S. Bach's cello suites in cello instruction in the institutions that train music teachers, to determine the opinions of faculty members and students about the use of these suites as a source in cello instruction and to do a technical and musical analysis of these suites' role in cello instruction. The researcher administered a survey to the cello instructors and students in the music teaching programs of fine arts teaching departments in universities' education faculties to collect the study data and analyzed the suites in technical and musical grounds with a consideration for cello instruction.The data indicate that all the cello instructors and students accepted the importance and necessity of using Bach's cello suites in cello instruction, and believed that including these musical pieces in cello instruction at any level would greatly contribute to the improvement of students' technical and musical skills.
