Periapikal granulomlardan izole edilen mikroorganizmalar sıklık sırasıyla; Streptococcus sanguis (%20), Streptococcus anginosus (%13,33), Streptococcus constellatus (%13,33), Streptococcus milleri (%13,33), Propionibacterium acnes (%6,66), Bacteroides capillosus (%6,66), Staphylococcus xylosus (%6,66), Actinomyces meyeri (%6,66), Candida albicans (%6,66) tır. Kistlerden izole edilen bakteriler sıklık sırasıyla; Streptococcus constellatus (% 19,04), Streptococcus sanguis (% 14,28), Prevotella buccae (% 4,76), Prevotella intermedia (% 4,76), Streptococcus anginosus (% 4,76), Propionibacterium propionicum (% 4,76), Bacteroides capillosus (% 4,76), Staphylococcus hominis (% 4,76), Actinomyces meyeri (% 4,76), Streptococcus cremoris (% 4,76), Streptococcus mitis (% 4,76), Rothia denticariosa (% 4,76), Actinomyces viscosus (% 4,76), Gemella haemolysans (% 4,76), Peptostreptococcus pevotii (% 4,76), Fusobacterium nucleatum (% 4,76)'dur.
The clinic materials for the aerobic and anaerobic microbiologic investigation were collected from 35 patients who were presented with periapical granulomas and radicular cysts, and were referred to the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. The clinical samples were collected from periapical granulomas with apical curettage and cysts with aspiration. Then those samples were sent to The Medical Faculty of University of Ondokuz Mayıs, Health Services and Research Center Medical Laboratories, Microbiology Department. The diagnosis of all the lesions was confirmed by histopatological investigation. The followings are the microorganisms isolated from periapical granulomas; Streptococcus sanguis (%20), Streptococcus anginosus (%13,33), Streptococcus constellatus (%13,33), Streptococcus milleri (%13,33), Propionibacterium acnes (%6,66), Bacteroides capillosus (%6,66), Staphylococcus xylosus (%6,66), Actinomyces meyeri (%6,66), Candida albicans (%6,66). The followings are the microorganisms were isolated from cysts; Streptococcus constellatus (% 19,04), Streptococcus sanguis (% 14,28), Prevotella buccae (% 4,76), Prevotella intermedia (% 4, 76), Streptococcus anginosus (% 4, 76), Propionibacterium propionicum (% 4,76), Bacteroides capillosus (% 4,76), Staphylococcus hominis (% 4,76), Actinomyces meyeri (% 4,76), Streptococcus cremoris (% 4,76), Streptococcus mitis (% 4, 76), Rothia denticariosa (% 4, 76), Actinomyces viscosus (% 4, 76), Gemella haemolysans (% 4, 76), Peptostreptococcus pevotii (% 4, 76), Fusobacterium nucleatum (%4,76). No statistically meaningful difference was found between the species of strict anaerobic and facultative anaerobic bacteria isolated by periapical granulomas and cysts (Fisher's Exact Test, p > 0,05).en_US
