Ondokuz Mayıs Üniversitesi Kurupelit Kampus sahası ve çevresindeki bazı Euphorbia L. türleri üzerinde morfolojik ve kimyasal bir çalışma

Abstract

- 86 - VI- ÖZET Bu çalışmada. Euphorbia cinsine ait farklı taks onlardan toplam 510 örnek, morfolojik ve kimyasal bir çalışma yapmak amacı ile On` dokuz Mayıs Üniversitesi, Kurupelit Kampus sahası ve çevresinden I987 yılı Mart ayından I988 yılı Eylül ayı başına kadar toplanmıştır. Örnekler genel görünüşlerine göre altı farklı gruba ayrılmış tır. Her grupta 23 tane ayırtedici morfolojik karakter belirlenmiş ve bu karakterler öl çülmüştür, İstatistiki değerlendirmeler sonunda yaprak, involukur,I.,11. ve III. involusel braktelerinin çevre koşullarından çok etkilendiği ve modifikasyonun çok fazla olduğu görülmüştür. Halbuki siyathiyum, erkek çiçek,dişi çiçek ve tohum karakterlerinde varyasyonun oldukça sınırlı olduğu ve çevre koşullarından fazla etkilenmedikleri anlaşılmıştır. Bazı morfolojik karakterler bütün gruplarda benzerlik göstermekte ve gruplara ayırmada önemli rol oynamamaktad ır lar. Fakat bazı morfolojik karakterler her grupta kalitatif bakımdan farklı olduğu gibi kantita- tif bakımdan da gruplar arasında devamlılık göstermemektedir.Daha sonra her grubu temsil eden türler teşhis edilmiş ve banların E. para lias L., E. platyphyllos L..E. s tric ta L..E.helioscopia L..E.exigua var. re tusa L. E. peplus L, var. peplus olduğu tesbit edilmiştir. Kimyasal çalışmada adı geçen türlere ait örneklerin leteksinde bulunan triterpenoidler İnce Tabaka Kromatografisi yöntemi ile analiz edilmiş tir. Triterpenoidlerin türlerde farklılık göstermesi, tür ayrımın da önemli bir karakter olacağını, bazı türlerin aynı triterpeno idlere sahip olması ise bu türler arasında akrabalığa da iyi bir kanıt teşkil edeceğini göstermiştir. Nişasta tanelerinin morfolojik yapısı E. paralias L.. E. platyphyllos L., E.stricta L..E. exigua var.retusa L. ve E. peplus L. var. peplus türlerinin la t eksinde benzer şekilde nişasta taneleri bulunmakla birlikte, her tü rü karakterize eden uzunluk ve şekillerde tanelerin de bulunduğu nlunâtağn ve bu özelliği taksonomik bir karakter olarak kullanılabileceği tesbit edilmiştir

- 07 - VII-SUMMAEY In this stx/dy,510 specimens were collected in March I987 to September I988 from different taxa of the genus Euphorbia to carry out a morphological and chemical study in Ondokuz Mayıs University, Kxurupe- lit Campus area. The specimens were sorted into six different groups according to the general appearance. 23 distinctive morphological characters were investigated in each grotrp and these characters were measured. At the end of the statistical evaluations it was determined that the `variation of the leaves, involucral, the first, second and third involucellar bracts were so variable than the variation of the cyathium» male flowers, female flowers and the seeds. It was determined that some morphological characters were similar in every groxip and had very little help to distinguish different species. On the other hand, some characters were qxialit8tively different in each group and also quantitatively d iscontinuous between some of the groiips. These were used as diagnostic characters to distinguish E.parelias L., E. platyphyllos L..E.stricta L..E.helioscopia L..E.exigua var. re tuşa L. and E.peplus L.var.p_ep_lus. Triterpenoids in latex of the specimens which discussed above were analysed by Thin-Layer Chromatography.lt was determined that the triterpenoids can be used as important taxonomic character.lt was evaluated that the triterpenoids can be used as an evidence to determine the relationship between these species. The starch grains were investigated in the latex of the specimens belonging to five different species. Some of the starch grains E. paralias L. E. platyphyllos L..E.stricta L..E.exigoa var.retusa L. and E.pep_luş L. var peplxts have characteristic length end shape. These could be tvsed as taxonomic characters.
