Samsun ekolojik şartlarında yetiştirilen bazı silajlık sorgum (Sorghum bicolor L. Moench) çeşitlerinde değişik dozlarda azotlu gübrelemenin verim ve verim unsurlarına etkileri üzerinde bir araştırma

Abstract

ÖZ Bu araştırma Samsun ekolojik şartlarında yetiştirilen bazı silajlık sorgum çeşitlerinde değişik dozlarda azotlu güb relemenin verim ve verim unsurları üzerine etkilerini araştır mak amacıyla 1989 yılında Karadeniz Tarımsal Araştırma Ensti tüsü Müdürlüğüne ait deneme tarlasında kurulmuştur. Yaş ve kuru ot verimleri yönünden en iyi sonuç dekara 7 kg azot uygulanan parsellerden alınırken, en yüksek yaş ve kuru ot verimleri de Rox, Leoti ve E. Sumac çeşitlerinden elde edil miştir. AN EXPERIMENT ON THE EFFECTS OF DIFFERENT NITROGEN LEVELS ON THE YIELD AND YIELD COMPONENTS OF SOME SILAGE SORGHUM VARIETIES GROWN UNDER THE ECOLOGICAL CONDITIONS OF SAMSUN ABSTRACT This experiment was conducted to invastigate the effects of different nitrogen levels on the yield and some yield components of 4 silage sorghum (Sorghum bicolor L. Moench.) varieties, grown under the Samsun ecological conditions in 1989 at Black Sea Regional Agricultural Research Institue. The highest hay and crude protein yields were obtained from Rox, Leoti and E. Sumac varieties. The differences among these varieties were not significant. The lowest hay and crude protein yields were obtained from the unfertilized plots. The application of nitrogen increased the yields, howewer there were no significant differences among the rates of nitrogen. Therefore the optimum rate of nitrogen was found as 7 kg N per decare.
