dc.description.abstractBu çalışmada, son yıllarda Niğde İl'i patates ekim alanlarında tarımsal mücadelede fazla miktarda kullanılan Topogard 50 WP herbisit'in farklı pH (4.5-7.5) ve farklı bünyedeki topraklarda biyolojik aktivite, nitrifikasyon ve denitrifikasyon üzerine olan etkisi araştırılmıştır. Niğde İl'i merkez köylerden alınan toprak örneklerine 300g/da hesabıyla Topogard 50 WP uygulanmış ve toprak örnekleri 25°C±2'de 91 gün süreyle inkübasyona bırakılmıştır. Toprakta CO2 üretimi inkübasyonun 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 14, 21, 28, 35, 42, 49, 56, 63, 77 ve 91. günlerinde; NHVN, NO`3-N, NO~2-N, total ve denitrifikant bakteri sayısı ise inkübasyonun 1, 7, 14, 21, 28, 35, 42, 56, 70 ve 84.günlerinde belirlenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda Topogard 50 WP uygulaması ile tüm topraklarda inkübasyonun ilk günlerinde artan CO2 üretiminin daha sonra azaldığı belirlenmiştir. Uygulama ile NHVN miktarı alkali özellikteki kum ve ün bünyeli topraklarda artarken, asit özellikteki tm bünyeli toprakta azalmıştır. Herbisit uygulaması alkali özellikteki tın bünyeli toprakta NO~3-N miktarını arttırmış, diğer topraklarda ise azaltmıştır. Herbisit uygulamasının NO~2-N miktarına ve toplam bakteri sayışma etkisi olmaz iken, denemede kullanılan tüm topraklarda denitrifikant bakteri sayısında artış belirlenmiştir. dc.description.abstractIn this study, the effects of Topogard 50 WP herbicide applications, which is widely used in ag-Iands cropped to potato in Nigde, Turkey, for weed control, on soil biological activity, nitrification, and denitrification in soils with different pH (4.5-7.5) and texture were investigated. The soils were sampled from the central villages of Nigde and the Topogard 50 WP herbicide was composited with the samples at a rate of 300 g/da and incubated for 91 days at 25 ± 2°C in the laboratory. The CO2 production on the 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 14, 21, 28, 35, 42, 49, 56, 63, 77, and 91st day and NH4+-N, N03` -N, N02` -N, and total number of bacteria and the number of denitrificant bacteria in incubation period on the 1, 7, 14, 21, 28, 35, 42, 56, 70, and 84th day were measured. The results of this experiment showed that the application of Topogard 50 WP increased CO2 production in the early days of incubation while decreasing the CO2 evolutions since the second week in the experiment. The content of NEU+-N in alkaline sandy and loamy textured soils increased with the application of the herbicide whereas acidic loamy soils registered a decrease in NH4+-N values due to the herbicide applications. Similarly, the nitrate content increased with the herbicide applications in alkaline loamy soils while the other soils showed very low nitrate values. The herbicide had no impact on nitrite content and total number of bacteria, while the number of denitrificant bacteria in all of the soils used in the experiment increased because of the herbicide application.Key Words: Soil, Topogard 50 WP, pH, texture, biological activity, nitrification, and denitrification.en_US
