| dc.description.abstract | Hatay'da göreve başladığı 19 Ağustos 1991'de kamuoyuna ilk verdiği mesaj ' Hatay gücünün farkında olmayan bir dev' mesajıydı.Hatay'ın yirmi beşinci valisi olarak göreve başladığı günden itibaren hizmet verdiği süre içerisinde toplumun her kesimiyle iyi bir diyalog kurmuştur. Hatay valiliğinden önce 1971-1974 yıllarında Hatay'ın Samandağ ilçesinde kaymakamlık görevinde bulunmuştur.Bu sebeple Hatay'ın ve Hatay halkının sorunlarını yakından bilmesi, valilik sürecinde bu tecrübe ve birikimlerden faydalanmasını sağlamıştır.
