Bu denemede fide ortamı olarak; 1.Cibre, 2.Perlit, 3.Torf, 4.Cüruf, 5.% 75 Cibre+%25 Meşe Külü, 6.% 75 Cibre+%25 Kavak Talaşı, 7.Cibre+10 g/L Alçı, 8.Cibre+10 g/L Jips, 9.% 75 Cibre +%25 Odun Kömürü, 10.% 90 Cibre+% 10 Odun Kömürü, 11.% 70 Cibre+% 20 İnce Perlit+% 10 Odun Kömürü, 12.% 70 Cibre+% 20 Süper İri Perlit+% 10 Odun Kömürü, 13.% 75 Cibre+% 25 İnce Perlit, 14.% 75 Cibre+% 25 Süper İri Perlit, 15.% 75 Cibre+% 25 Cüruf kullanılmıştır. Dikim döneminde kullanılan ortamlar ise 1.Cibre, 2.Cüruf, 3.Perlit, 4.% 75 Cibre+%25 Kavak Talaşı, 5.Cibre+10 g/L Alçı, 6.Cibre+10 g/L Jips, 7.% 90 Cibre+% 10 Odun Kömürü, 8.% 75 Cibre+%25 Odun Kömürü, 9.% 70 Cibre+% 20 Süper İri Perlit+% 10 Odun Kömürü, 10.% 70 Cibre+% 20 İnce Perlit+% 10 Odun Kömürü, 11.% 75 Cibre+%25 İnce Perlit, 12.% 75 Cibre+%25 Süper İri Perlit, 13.% 75 Cibre+%25 Cüruf, 14.Toprak.
In this experiment, the followings were used as a seedling media: 1.Grape marc, 2.Perlite, 3.Peat, 4.Cinder, 5.)75% grape marc+25% oak ash, 6. 75% grape marc+25% poplar sawdust, 7.Grape marc+10 g/L plaster of Paris, 8.Grape marc+10 g/L gypsum, 9. 75% grape marc+25% charcoal, 10.90% grape marc+10% charcoal, 11.70% grape marc+20% fine perlite+10% charcoal, 12.70% grape marc+20% super coarse perlite+10% charcoal, 13.75% grape marc+25% fine perlite, 14.75% grape marc+25% super coarse perlite, 15. 75% grape marc+25% cinder. The best seedling media were perlite, peat, grape marc and 75% grape marc+gypsum (10 g/L) mixture. 75% grape marc+25% oak ash mixture had very little germination and seedlings did not develop. It was seen that it was not suitable for growing crisphead lettuce seedlings. The seedlings developed in 75% grape marc+25% poplar sawdust during propagation but no growth occurred after planting. The following media were used for planting; 1.Grape marc, 2.Cinder, 3.Perlite, 4.75% grape marc+25% oak sawdust, 5.grape marc+10 g/L plaster of Paris, 6.grape marc+10 g/L gypsum, 7.90% grape marc+10% charcoal, 8.75% grape marc+25% charcoal, 9.70% grape marc+20% super coarse perlite+10% charcoal, 10.70% grape marc+20% fine perlite+10% charcoal, 11.75% grape marc+25% fine perlite, 12.75% grape marc+25% super coarse perlite, 13. 75% grape marc+25% cinder, 14.Soil. The best media were perlite, greenhouse border and grape marc. There were so much tipburn on the outside leaves of the plant in cinder. As a result, during the seedling stage besides perlite and peat, as alternative media grape marc and grape marc+10 g/L gypsum can be used and are more economical than them therefore they will be very useful for the grower and economy of Turkey. It was found that the grape marc also be ased as an alternative medium to the perlite and greenhouse border for planting.en_US
