dc.description.abstractBu tezde klasik ilaçlama ünitesi olan tekli meme ile yanlardan püskürtme yapan ikilipüskürtme ünitesi iz maddesi tutunması ve damla büyüklüğü karakteristik değerleri açısındanincelenmiştir. İz maddesi olarak Tartrazin boyası kullanılmış ve filter kağıtları üzerine her ikiunite ile ayrı ayrı farklı basınçlarda (2-3-4 bar) püskürtme yapılmıştır. Ayrıca damla büyüklüğükarakteristiklerinin tespiti için suya duyarlı kağıtlardan faydalanılmıştır. Hacimsel ortalamadamla büyüklüğü, sayısal ve yüzeysel ortalama damla büyüklüğü değerleri hesaplanmıştır.Ayrıca yaprak alanına gelen damla sayıları da belirlenmiştir. Hedef alan olarak domates bitkisiseçilmiştir. Örnekleme yüzeyleri domates bitkisinin üst kısmına, alt kısmına ve toprak yüzeyineyerleştirilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda ikili püskürtme ünitesi daha iyi sonuçlar vermiştir. Yaprakaltı bölgelerde ikili püskürtme ünitesi daha başarılı olmuştur. Spektrofotometrik analizlersonucunda yaprak yüzeylerinde en fazla iz maddesi tutunumu ikili meme ünitesinde eldeedilmiştir. Yaprak yüzeylerinde ve alt kısımlarda ölçülen damla çapı değerleri açısındanpüskürtme üniteleri arasındaki fark önemlidir. Yaprak alanı indisi küçük bitkiler için teklipüskürtme ünitesi önerilirken büyük olanlara ikili püskürtme üniteleri önerilmiştir.Anahtar Kelimeler : pülverizasyon, püskürtme memesi, damla, domates, kalıntı
dc.description.abstractThe parameters of the buying decision of the people living in the rural and the urban areas in Thrace region, and their consumption behaviors, knowledge levels and attitudes about the health risks related with food safety were investigated and their expectations were determined.The research was conducted with a total of 770 households (of which 385 was from rural areas, and 385 from urban areas) that were effective on the foodstuff consumption.The data were statistically analyzed in terms of descriptive and inferential statistics by using statistical package programme. t test, khi square test and factor analyses were made for the evaluation of the data.The differences between the evaluation of the criteria which were considered while buying foodstuffs by the consumers living in three different cities in Thrace Region, ie. Edirne, Kırklareli and Tekirdağ, and rural and urban areas were determined by using Multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA).The factors affecting the knowledge level of the consumers were determined by means of Logit Analysis. The results show that the variables, ie. gender, rural-urban area, education level, were statistically significant and the slope ratios were compatible with the expectations.Only the first (knowledge about ingredients, right preparation of foodstuffs, buying decision) and the third (quality and price) factor group variables were found to be statistically significant.The research was conducted on 557 female (72.3%) and 213 male (27.7%). The socio-demographic features of the families, their food consumption with respect to their economical conditions and their attitudes towards food safety were investigated. It is determined that the shopping are done by the parents in households and freshness, taste and the flavour of the food product are important issues about the buying decision of food products as well as food safety. And also it is determined that the higher the educational and the economical level of the family, the higher the consumption of ready-to-eat food products. The research indicates that the families living in urban areas give more importance to food consumption compared to the ones living in rural areas, and families living in urban areas emphasize the food-borne diseases, especially these originating from foodstuffs of animal origin, than the families living in rural areas.Keywords : Food Safety, Consumer behavior, nutrition, Food consumptionen_US
