Türkiye`de kapitalizmin işleyişi sürecinde sakin şehir hareketi ve sürdürülebilirlik: Seferihisar örneği

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı son yıllarda adı Türkiye'de de sıklıkla duyulmaya başlanan `yavaş hareketi`nin sonucu olarak ortaya çıkan sakin şehir hareketinin Seferihisar örneğinde mevcut kapitalist ekonomik işleyişe nasıl eklemlendiğinin ve hareketin günümüz üretim-tüketim ilişkileri içinde sürdürülebilirliğinin araştırılmasıdır. Araştırma karma bir metodoloji ile nitel ve nicel araştırma tekniklerinin bir arada kullanılması esasına dayalı olarak yürütülmüştür. Araştırma kapsamında bir kamu kuruluşu, bir kooperatif, çeşitli sivil toplum kuruluşlarının yanı sıra, yerel aktörlerden elde edilen veriler Marksist bir yaklaşımla analiz edilmiştir. Kuruluş temsilcileri ve yerel yönetim temsilcileriyle derinlemesine mülakat gerçekleştirilirken, yerel halka ise anket uygulanmıştır. `Oranlı tabakalı örnekleme` yoluyla seçilen 332 kişiye uygulanan anket sonucunda elde edilen veriler SPSS 21 (Statistical Package For Social Sciences) programı aracılığıyla işlenmiş; tanımlayıcı istatistik kullanılarak tablolar halinde sunularak, frekans ve yüzdelik değerler hesaplanmış, fark testleri, Shapiro Wilk testi ve Kruskal Wallis testleri yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda ilçenin sakin şehir unvanı almasıyla birlikte belediyenin hizmetlerinin arttığı; ancak yaz aylarında artan nüfusla birlikte ilçeye sonradan yerleşen kişi sayısının da artmasıyla birtakım sorunların ortaya çıktığı belirlenmiştir. Elde edilen verilere göre ilçede sosyal tabakalaşmanın artması, kent ve çevre sorunlarının artması, soylulaştırma ve yabancılaşmanın ortaya çıkması, ulusal ve küresel sermayenin ilçede etkin hale gelmesi bu sorunlardandır. Sonuç olarak incelenen örnek bağlamında sakin şehir hareketinin sürdürülebilirliği konusunda birtakım güçlükler bulunmaktadır.Anahtar Kelimeler: `sakin şehir hareketi`, `kapitalizm`, `Marksizm`, `çevre krizi`, `sürdürülebilirlik`, `nitel araştırma`, `nicel araştırma`.

This research aims to investigate the sustainability of cittaslow movement that we started to hear about recently in Turkey, as a result of slow movement within current production-consumption relationship within the existing capitalist economic functioning. The research also aims to investigate the ability of cittaslow movement to open a new movement area within the case of Seferihisar. The research was conducted on the basis of a combination of a mixed methodology by using qualitative and quantitative research techniques. In the scope of the research, the data obtained from a public institution, a cooperative, various non-governmental organizations as well as local actors have been analyzed with a Marxist approach. An in-depth interview was conducted with the representatives of the organization and the local government, while a survey was conducted with the local community.The data obtained from the questionnaire applied to 332 individuals selected by `proportional stratified sampling` were processed through SPSS 21 program (Statistical Package For Social Sciences); frequency and percentage values were calculated, difference tests, Shapiro Wilk test and Kruskal Wallis tests were applied. As a result of the research, the services of the municipality increased with the cittaslow title; however, with the increasing population in the summer months, and due to the increase in the number of people who settled in the province afterwards, a number of problems have arisen. Movement And Sustaınabılıty In Turkey Wıthın The Process Of Capıtalısm: Seferıhısar Case Process Of Cıty Resıdents According to the obtained data, the increase of social stratification in the district, the increase of urban and environmental problems, the emergence of gentrification and alienation, and the increase of national and global capital's efficiency in the province are some of these problems.
