dc.description.abstractBu çalışmada, Spirulina platensis kültürlerinde iki farklı demir formu (Fe+2 ve Fe+3) ile yapay ligand EDTA (Etilendiamin tetraasetikasit)'nın, optik yoğunluk (O.D), klorofil-a miktarı (µg/ml), kuru madde (g/L), pH değişimi, büyüme hızı (µ=bölünme/gün) ve fikosiyanin gibi büyüme parametrelerinin değişimine olan etkileri araştırılmıştır.Çalışma süreci sonucunda deneme gruplarına ait elde edilen en yüksek değerler sırasıyla: optik yoğunluk; Fe+3 + EDTA'sız 2Bgrubu (1,901) ve Fe+2 + EDTA'sız 2A (1,695), pH; 2A (10,03) ve 2B (10,00), kuru madde miktarı; 2B (2,733 g/L) ve 2A (2,600 g/L), klorofil-a miktarı; 2B (18,296 µg/ml) ve 2A (17,166 µg/ml), fikosiyanin miktarı; 2A (73,416 µg/ml), kontrol grubu (62,125 µg/ml) ve 2B (56,750 µg/ml) olarak belirlenmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda elde edilen verilerden, S.platensis'in gelişimine, ortamda EDTA bulunmadığında, Fe+2 ve Fe+3 formunun etkili olduğu belirlenmiştir.
dc.description.abstractThis study aims to investigate the effect of two different Fe forms (Fe+2 and Fe+3) and of artificial ligand, EDTA (Ethylenediaminetetraacetate) on the growth parameters of Spirulina platensis (Cyanophyta) including optical density (O.D), amount of chlorophyl-a (µg/ml), dry matter (g/L), pH value, growth rate (µ=division/day) and C-phycocyanin content (µg/ml).Maximum values obtained from the experimental groups handled in the study for several parameters were as follows; optical density for Fe+3 + group 2B without EDTA and for Fe+2 + group 2A without EDTA respectively 1,901 and 1,695; pH for group 2A and group 2B respectively 10,03 and 10,00; Dry matter for group 2B and grup 2A respectively 2,733 g/L and 2,600 g/L; The amount of chlorophyl-a for group 2B and group 2A respectively 18,296 µg/ml and 17,166 µg/ml; Phycocyanin amount for group 2A, control group and group 2B respectively 73,416 µg/ml, 62,125 µg/ml and 56,750 µg/ml. According to the results , Fe+2 and Fe+3 forms were found to be more effective in absence of EDTA on the growth of S.platensis.en_US
