Descartes`ın epistemolojisinin metafizik temelleri

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Descartes'ın kesin ve güvenilir bilgiye ulaşmak için izlediği yol ve bu yolda Tanrı'ya vermiş olduğu yer söz konusu edilecektir. Böylece Descartes'ın epistemolojisinden hareketle ontolojisini nasıl kurduğuna değineceğiz.Descartes'a göre kesin ve güvenilir bir bilgi vardır. Descartes, bu kesin bilgiye ulaşmak için kuşkuculuğu ön plana almıştır. Dolayısıyla Descartes, epistemolojisini kuşkuluculuktan yola çıkarak oluşturmuştur. Descartes, bu yöntemle doğruluğundan asla şüphe edilemeyecek bir bilgiye ulaşmıştır o da: `düşünme`ya da `cogito`dur. Ona göre, biz düşündüğümüz sürece varız. Onun bu düşüncesinin temelinde ruh ve beden ayırımı yatmaktadır. Düşünmeye sezgi ile ulaşan Descartes, Tanrı'nın bilgisine de bu yolla ulaşmaya çalışır. Ona göre, Tanrı, en yetkin varlıktır. Böylece Descartes, Tanrı'yı epistemelojsinin en başına yerleştirmiştir. Ona göre, Tanrı, bilinmedikçe başka hiçbir şey hakkında kesin bir bilgi elde edilemez.

In this study, it will be mentioned about the rood which Descartes follows to ge tthe certain and reliable knowledge and the importance given to God by him. Thence, it will be stated how Descartes establishes ontology in the light of his epistemology.According to Descartes there is accurate knowledge. Descartes give spriority to skepticism to access this knowledge. Therefore he establishes his epistemology in thelight of skepticism. With this method, he accesses the knowledge that he never will suspect of it saccuracy. İt is `thinking`or `cogito`. He proves his presence withthis `thinking`. Accordingtohim, weexist as long as wethink. On the basis of his thought there is aseperation of spiritand body. Descartes, who accesses the thought intuitivelytriestoaccess the knowledge of God with the same method. According to Descartes God is the most competent being. He regordes God above the all beings and the epistemology. According it can not be accessedany information without knowing God.
