dc.description.abstractBu araştırmada ilköğretim okullarında görev yapan öğretmenlerin, yöneticilerin karar alma süreçlerine ilişkin algı ve beklentilerini ortaya koymak amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini İstanbul ili Anadolu yakasındaki ilköğretim okullarında görev yapan öğretmenler, yöneticiler oluşturmaktadır. Örneklem random yöntemiyle seçilen toplam 265 kişiden oluşmaktadır. Verilerin istatistiksel çözümlemesi ?SPSS? programı kullanılarak ?t-testi?, ?ANOVA? ve ?scheffe? anlamlılık testi ile yapılmıştır.Problem, insanoğlunu rahatsız eden bir durumdur. Çözümü, bir araştırma veya tartışma gerektirir. Karar verme, bir sorunun çözümüne ilişkin olası yollardan en uygun olanın seçilmesidir. Karar verme yönetim sürecinin kalbidir. Yönetim, kararla başlar, kararla biter. Eğer astlar, verilecek bir kararda bireysel çıkara ve karara anlamlı katkıda bulunabilecek bir bilgi birikimine sahip iseler, bu durumda astlar söz konusu karara katılmalıdırlar. İşgörenler verilen kararın nedenlerini bildiği zaman ve karara katıldığı zaman sorumluluk alacak ve daha iyisini yapacaktır.Örgütsel performans üzerinde önemli bir etkiye sahip olan çalışanların kararlara katılımı; is tatmini, motivasyon, örgüte bağlılık, takım anlayışı, koordinasyon ve işbirliğini arttırmada, çalışanların daha büyük bir özveriyle çalışmalarını sağlamada önemli faydalar sağlamaktadır. Bu araştırma kararlara katılım konusunda yöneticilerin ve öğretmenlerin düşüncelerini ortaya koymak amacı ile yapılmıştır. Bu bağlamda çalışanların kararlara katılım derecesi, çalışanları kararlara katılmaya teşvik eden unsurlar, kararlara katılmanın alınan kararlara etkisi, kararlara katılmanın sağlayacağı faydalar araştırılmıştır. Araştırma verilerinin analizi sonucunda, işgörenlerin özellikle kendi bölümlerini ve kendi islerini ilgilendiren konularda kararlara katılmak istedikleri ortaya çıkmıştır. İsletmenin amaçlarını daha iyi anlama, üstlerle yakın ilişkiler içerisinde olma ve kararların kalitesini artırma gibi unsurların işgörenleri kararlara katılmaya teşvik eden unsurlar olduğu bulgusuna ulaşılmıştır. İşgörenlerin kararlara katılımıyla, is tatmini, motivasyon ve koordinasyonun artacağı ve işgörenlerin kararları ve isletme amaçlarını daha iyi anlayabilecekleri ortaya çıkmıştır.Araştırma sonuçlarına göre, öğretmenlerin, yöneticilerinin karar alma süreçlerine ilişkin algı ve beklentilerinin mesleki kıdem, eğitim durumu değişkenine göre anlamlı bir farklılık gösterdiği bulunmuştur. Görev, cinsiyet değişkenine göre ise farklılaşmamaya neden olmamaktadır. Ayrıca yöneticilerin, öğretmenlerin beklentilerinin var olan durumdan daha yüksek puanlandığı bulunmuştur. Öğretmenler, algı ölçeğini ?Ara sıra?, beklenti ölçeğini ise ?Her zaman? düzeyinde puanlamışlardır.Anahtar sözcükler: Karar alma, algı, beklenti
dc.description.abstractIn this study the role of teachers in primary schools, managers for decision-making process is intended to reveal the perceptions and expectations. The universe of the study includes all primary education school teachers , managers working on the Anatolion side of İstanbul. The total sample selected by random method Consists of 265 people.Statistical analysis of data `SPSS` program by using the `t-test`, `ANOVA` and ` Scheffler` significance test was done with.Problem is a situation which disturbs mankind. Solution of it needs a research or a an argument. Decision making is the choosing of the most suitable solution from the possible ways, relating to the problem?s solving. Decision making is the heart of administrative process. Administrating starts and ends with decision. At the situation of getting a decision the inferiors should take part in decision; if they have in enough knowledge accumulation which will be able to make meaningful contribution for individual profit and decision. When the staff knows the reasons of the decisions, they are going to take responsibility and do their best.Participative management has a significant role on organizational performance. It increases job satisfaction, motivation, organizational commitment, team sense, coordination, cooperation and encourages employees to work harder. This study aims to explain employees? opinions about participative management, how much they participate in decision making, for what reason they participate in decision making, effects of participative decision making to the quality of decisions, and benefits of participative decision making. By analysing the research data, it was realised that the employees want to participate in decisions especially at the departmental and job level. The better understanding of the company aims, establishing a close relationship with the managers and improving the quality of the decisions are regarded by the employees as the main factors which encourage them to participate in decisions. The empirical study also founded that as the employees participate in decisions, job satisfaction, employee motivation and co-ordination increase, and the aims of the company are better understood by the employees.According to research results, teachers, administrators and decision-making process, perception and expectations related to professional seniority, education level was found to show significant differences according to the variable. Task, according to the gender variable does not cause the different. Moreover, administrators, teachers' expectations higher than the existing situation has been scoring.
