Sosyal bilgiler öğretim programında yer alan değerlerle kütahya ili menkıbelerinde geçen değerlerin karşılaştırılması

Abstract

`Değer, bir şeyin veya kimsenin taşıdığı yüksek, yararlı vasıf ve ne kadar önemli olduğunu belirten soyut ölçü` (TDK, 2019, s. 607) iken menkıbe, `övünülecek, güzel iş, hareket ve davranış` (Ocak, 2016, s. 21) anlamları taşımaktadır. Bu çerçevede menkıbeler değer aktarımı amacıyla eğitim öğretim alanında kullanılabilmektedir. Ayrıca sosyal bilgiler öğretiminde dersin öyküleştirilerek gerekli kazanımların verilmesi, içerikçe zenginleştirilerek öğrencilerde merak ve ilgi uyandırılması, öğrencilerin ders üzerinde etkisini arttırarak belirlenen hedeflere kolaylıkla ulaşılması için menkıbelerden faydalanılması gereklidir. Bu bağlamda çalışmanın amacını sosyal bilgiler öğretim programındaki değerlerle Kütahya ili menkıbelerinde geçen değerlerin karşılaştırılması oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma nitel araştırma yaklaşımı çerçevesinde temel nitel araştırma desenine uygun olarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın verileri çeşitli araştırmacıların Kütahya ili çevresinden elde ettiği 158 menkıbe ve anlatıdan oluşmaktadır. Doküman incelemesi kapsamında toplanan verilerin çözümlenmesinde, verileri düzenleyerek ve yorumlayarak okuyucuya sunmayı amaçlayan betimsel analiz yaklaşımı kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen bu veriler Milli Eğitim Bakanlığının 2018 sosyal bilgiler öğretim programında yer alan 18 değer teması ile karşılaştırılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda Kütahya menkıbelerinden elde edilen verilere göre toplamda 23 değere (Yardımseverlik, Vatanseverlik, Duyarlılık, Şehitlik, Haksız Kazancı Menetme, Ön Yargılı Olmama, Misafirperverlik, Alçak Gönüllülük, Öngörülü Olma, Saygı, Kötü Alışkanlıktan Sakınma, Merhamet, İftiradan Sakınma, Kanaatkâr Olma, Sabır, Sevgi, Sadakat, Adalet, Barış, İffetli Olma, Dürüstlük, Vefa, Görgülü Olma) ulaşılmıştır. Sosyal bilgiler öğretim programında yer alan değerlerle Kütahya iline ait değerler karşılaştırılmış toplamda ortak 8 değere (Adalet, Barış, Duyarlılık, Dürüstlük, Saygı, Sevgi, Vatanseverlik, Yardımseverlik) ulaşılmıştır

While value is an abstract measure of how important something or someone is and something's or someone's high, useful qualification, tale (menkıbe) bears such meanings as goodwork, movement and behavior to be proud of. In this context, tales can be used in the field of education for the purpose of transferring value. In addition, in social studies teaching, it is necessary to make use of tales to give the necessary gains by story telling the lesson, to arouse curiosity and interest in the students by enriching the content, and to reach the targets easily by increasing the impact of the students on the course. In this context, the aim of the study is to compare the values in the social studies curriculum and the values in thetales (menkibes) of Kütahya province. There search was carried out in accordance with the survey model within the framework of the qualitative research approach. The data of the study consists of 158 menkibes and narratives obtained by various researchers from the vicinity of Kütahya province. In the analysis of the data collected within the scope of document analysis, descriptive analysis approach, which aim stop resent to the reader by editing and interpreting the data, was used. The data were compared with 18 value themes in the 2018 Social Studies Curriculum of the Ministry of National Education. According to the data obtained as a result of there search, a total of 23 values (Charity, Patriotism, Sensitivity, Martyrdom, Avoiding unfair gain, Having an openmind, Hospitality, Modesty / Humbleness, Solution-oriented foresight, Respect, Avoiding bad habits, Compassion, Avoidings lander, Austerity, Patience, Love, Loyalty, Fairness / Justice, Peace, Chaste, Honesty, Fidelity, Goodmanners) were obtained. The values in the social studies curriculum and the values of Kütahya Province were compared and a total of 8 common values (Fairness / Justice, Peace, Sensitivity, Honesty, Love, Respect, Patriotism, Charity) werefound.
