Temettuat Defterlerine göre Kastamonu Vilayeti Zarı Kazası`nın sosyo-ekonomik yapısı

Abstract

XIX. yüzyıl Osmanlı Devleti'nde ortaya çıkan reformlar vergi alanında da etkisini göstermiştir. Bu sayede yeni vergi uygulamaları başlamış ve ülkenin ekonomik durumunu ölçmek için değerlendirmeler yapılmıştır. Yapılan değerlendirmeler defterlere kaydedilerek, tutulan kayıtları da `Temettuat Defterleri` olarak adlandırılmıştır. Temettuat Defterleri ülkenin sosyal, ekonomik ve demografik durumunun bilinmesinde önemli kaynaklardandır. Bu kayıtlardan insanların yaşadıkları bölgenin adları, lakapları, meslekleri, mülki yapıları, hayvanları, yetiştirdikleri tarım ürünleri ve nüfus yapısı öğrenilebilmektedir. Bu sayede araştırmanın temeli olan temettuat defterlerinin Kastamonu Vilayeti'ne bağlı Zarı(Pınarbaşı) Kazası Temettuat Defterleri'ne ulaşılmış ve transkrip edilerek değerlendirilmiştir.1844-1845 yılları Temettuat Defterleri'nde Kastamonu Vilayeti Zarı Kazası'nın idari, demografik, sosyal, nüfusu ve ekonomik yapısı ortaya çıkarılmıştır.Anahtar Kelimeler: Zarı, Kastamonu, Temettuat, Sosyo-Ekonomik, Osmanlı, XIX. 19th century has showed its effect on the taxes in Ottoman State via the reforms. Thus, the new tax applications have been initiated and the evaluations have been made in order to analyze the economic status of the country. The analyses performed have been recorded to the books and these records have been named `Temettuat Books`. Temettuat Books have been one of the important sources for understanding the social, economic, and demographic status of the country. In these records, one can learn the names, nicknames, occupations, and properties of anybody, as well as the animals they raise, the agricultural product they grow, and the population structure. Thus, the Temettuat Books of Zarı (Pınarbaşı) District of Kastamonu Province were found and then analyzed by transcribing.In Temettuat Books of the period between 1844 and 1845, the data of administrative, demographic, social, and economic structure of Zarı District of Kastamonu Province were determined.Keywords: Zarı, Kastamonu, Temettuat, Socioeconomic, Ottoman, 19th Century
