Algılanan helikopter ebeveyn tutumlarının kız ergenlerde duygusal yeme ve beden imgesinin yaşam niteliğine etkisi

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı algılanan helikopter ebeveyn tutumlarının kız ergenlerde duygusal yeme ve beden imgesinin yaşam niteliğine etkisinin incelenmesi ve aralarında anlamlı bir ilişki olup olmadığının belirlenmesidir. İlişkisel tarama modelinde olan bu araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, İstanbul ili Avrupa yakasında 2019-2020 eğitim-öğretim yılında öğrenim görmekte olan lise öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Lise öğrencilerinin algılanan helikopter anne-baba tutumlarının düzeylerini belirlemek amacıyla Yılmaz tarafından 2000 yılında geliştirilen Türkçeye uyarlanan Algılanan Helikopter Ebeveyn Tutum Ölçeği (AHETÖ), kız ergenlerin duygusal yeme düzeylerini belirlemek için Bektaş ve arkadaşları tarafından 2016 yılında geliştirilen geliştirilen Çocuk ve Ergenlerde Duygusal Yeme Ölçeği, kız ergenlerin beden imgelerinin yaşam niteliğini ölçmek için ise Demiralp ve arkadaşları tarafından 2015 yılında geliştirilen Beden İmgelerinin Yaşam Niteliğine Etkisi Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Yapılan analizler sonucunda verilerin normal dağılım göstermediği saptanmış ve nan parametrik analiz yapılması uygun görülmüştür. Analize uygun görülen 483 veri, SPSS istatistik paket programıyla analiz edilmiştir. Yapılan analizler sonucunda beden imgesinin yaşam niteliğine etkisinin okul türü, sınıf düzeyi, çocuklukta algılanan ebeveyn tutumu ve sosyoekonomik düzey değişkenine göre anlamlı derecede farklılık göstermiştir. Annenin-babanın eğitim düzeyi ve aile tipine göre ise gruplar arasında anlamlı farklılıklara rastlanmamıştır. Beden İmgesinin Yaşam Niteliğine Etkisi Kendilik Değeri Alt Boyutu ile annelerin Etik-Ahlaki Konularda Helikopter Tutumları, Temel Güven ve Yaşam Becerileri Konusunda Helikopter Tutumları arasında negatif yönlü anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Beden İmgesinin Yaşam Niteliğine Etkisi Ölçeği Kendilik Alt Boyutu puanları ile Babaların Etik-Ahlaki Konularda Helikopter Tutumları arasında da negatif yönlü anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Ayrıca Beden İmgesinin Yaşam Niteliğine Etkisi Kendilik Değeri Alt Boyutu ile babaların Akademik /Okul yaşamı konularında helikopterlik tutumu ile negatif düzeyde anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur.Anahtar Kelimeler: Helikopter Ebeveynlik, Ergenlik, Duygusal Yeme, Beden İmgesi, Yaşam Niteliği

The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of perceived helicopter parental attitudes on the quality of life and emotional eating and body image in female adolescents and to determine whether there is a significant relationship between hem. The study group of this research, which is in the relational screening model, consists of high school students studying in the European side of Istanbul in 2019-2020 academic year. which was adapted to Turkish by Yılmaz 2000 in order to determine the levels of perceived helicopter parental attitudes of high school students, was used to determine the emotional eating levels of female adolescents. Perceived Helicopter Parental Attitude Scale (AHETÖ), 2016, the Emotional Eating Scale in Children and Adolescents was used to measure the quality of life of the body images of female adeolescents. 2015 was used to measure the effect of body images on quality of life. As a results of the analysis, it was determined that the data did not Show normal distribution and it was considered appropriate to perform nan parametric analysis. 483 data which were found suitable for analysis were anaylzed with SPSS statistical package program. anayzes, the effect of body image on quality of life showed a significant difference according to school type, class level, perceived parental attitude in childhood and socieconomic level variable. There were no significant differences between the groups according to education level of the parents and family type. As a result of the analzes, the effect of body image on quality of life was found to be negatively correlated with the self-value subscale and the mothers' Helicopter Attitudes on Ethical-Moral İssues, Basic Confidence and Life Skills. A negative correlation was also found between the effect of Body İmage on Quality of Life Scale Self-Subscale scores and the Fathers' Helicopter Attitudes on Ethical-Moral İssues. In addition a negative significant correlation was found between the effect of body image on quality of life, self-value subscale and the fathers' attitudes towards academic/school life.Key Words: Helicopter Parenting, Adolescence, Emotional Eating, Body İmage, Quality of Life
