İlköğretim 3.sınıflarda öğrencinin teknolojiyi kullanım şeklinin öğrenci başarısına olan etkisinin incelenmesi

Abstract

Öğretmen ve öğrenci görüşlerine dayalı olarak, teknolojinin eğitimde kullanımının öğrenci başarısı üzerindeki etkilerini belirlemeyi amaçlayan bu araştırma, deneysel bir nitelik taşımaktadır.Araştırma, Esenyurt ilçe merkezinde bulunan Esenyurt Cumhuriyet İlkokulu'nda 2016-2017 öğretim yılında öğrenim gören 78 öğrenci ve çevre okullarda yer alan 150 öğrenci üzerinde yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada veriler, başarı testi ile elde edilmiştir.Testin çözümlenmesinden şu sonuçlara ulaşılmıştır: Daha önce belirlenen konu ve üniteleri görmüş olan 150 4.sınıf öğrencisine güvenirlilik uygulaması yapılmış ve 30 soruda ortalama doğru yanıtının 28,26 adet olduğu, bunun 100 üzerinden ortalama 94,20 olduğu görülmüştür. Böylece başarı testi güvenilir denilebilmektedir. Araştırmada ön test- son test modeli kullanılmıştır. Belirlenen evrenden deney grubu olarak 3-G sınıfı(39 öğrenci) kontrol grubu olarak 3-A(39 öğrenci) sınıfı seçilmiştir. Toplamda 78 öğrenciye önce ön test yapılmış, ön bilgiler ölçülmüştür. Ardından deney grubuna teknoloji kullanarak anlatım, kontrol grubuna ise düz anlatım yapılmış ve 78 öğrenciye son testler uygulanmıştır. Ön testten elde edilen verilere göre, 78 öğrencinin 30 soruda ortalama doğru yanıtının 25,47 adet olduğu, bunun 100 üzerinden ortalama 84,91 olduğu görülmektedir. Son testten elde edilen verilere göre de, aynı katılımcıların 30 soruda ortalama doğru yanıtının 28,81 adet olduğu, bunun 100 üzerinden ortalama 96,03 olduğu görülmektedir. Deney ve kontrol grubunda bulunan katılımcıların başarı testi ön test ve son test ölçümlerine ilişkin tanımlayıcı istatistikler sonucunda deney grubunda bulunan katılımcıların yaklaşık 15 puan, kontrol grubunda bulunan katılımcıların ise yaklaşık 7 puanlık gelişim gösterdiği görülmektedir. Bu araştırma sonucunda da teknoloji ile eğitimin öğrenci başarısını arttırdığı sonucuna varılmıştır.Ayrıca bu 78 öğrenciye kişisel bilgi formu yapılmıştır. Kişisel bilgi formu; cinsiyet, anne-baba mesleği, 3.sınıf genel not ortalamaları, 3.sınıf Hayat bilgisi not ortalamaları ve 3.sınıf 1.Yarıyıl Hayat bilgisi not ortalamaları gibi bilgileri içermektedir. Formdaki bu kriterlere göre ortalamalar karşılaştırılmıştır.

Research conducted in recent years has shown that many of the features that schools have are an important influence on student achievement and that these characteristics bring about a difference on students. Based on teacher and student perspectives, this research, which aims to determine the effects of the use of technology in education on student achievement, is of an experimental nature.The research was carried out on 78 students in the Esenyurt Cumhuriyet Primary School in the province center of Esenyurt in 2016-2017 academic year and 150 students in the surrounding schools. The data were obtained by the success test.The results of the test were obtained: reliability was applied to the 150 fourth grade students who had seen the subjects and units previously identified, and it was found that the average correct answer was 28,26 in 30 questions, which was an average of 94,20 out of 100. Thus, the success test can be called reliable.The pre-test-post test model was used in the study. The 3-G class (39 students) was selected as the control group from the determined class and the 3-A (39 students) class was selected as the control group. A total of 78 students were pre-tested and preliminary information was measured. Subsequently, the experimental group was narrated using technology and the control group was given a flat narration and 78 students were administered final tests. According to the results obtained from the preliminary test, it is seen that the average correct response of 78 students in 30 questions is 25,47, which is an average of 84,91 out of 100. According to the results obtained from the last test, it is seen that the average correct response of the same participants in 30 questions is 28,81, which is an average of 96,03 out of 100.III As a result of the descriptive statistics on the pre-test and post-test measures of the achievement test of the participants in the experiment and control groups, it was observed that the participants in the experimental group showed approximately 15 points and the participants in the control group showed approximately 7 points of improvement.As a result of this research, the result of technology and education increased student achievement. In addition, these 78 students were given personal information form. Personal information form; Gender, parental occupation, 3rd grade general grade averages, 3rd grade life information grade averages and 3rd grade 1st semester Life information grade average. The averages according to these criteria in the form are compared.
