Öğrenci hemşirelerin çalışan güvenliğine yönelik bilgi, tutum ve davranışlarının değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Sağlık çalışanının iş sağlığı ve güvenliği önlemleri konusunda bilgilendirilmesi önemlidir. Hemşirelik öğrencilerinin klinik uygulama alanlarında çalışan güvenliği ile ilgili bilgi birikiminin ve farkındalıklarının arttırılmasıyla gelecekte oluşabilecek iş kazaları ve meslek hastalıklarının en aza indirilmesi hedeflenmektedir.Amaç: Öğrenci hemşirelerin çalışan güvenliği konusundaki bilgi düzeylerinin belirlenmesi ve farkındalıklarının arttırılmasıdır.Gereç ve Yöntem: Araştırma hemşirelik yüksekokulunda okuyan, araştırmaya katılmayı kabul eden 315 öğrenci ile yürütüldü. Veriler kurum izni ve etik kurul onayı alınarak anket formu ile toplandı. Anketler SPSS 22.0 programı kullanılarak değerlendirildi.Bulgular: Öğrencilerin çalışan güvenliğine yönelik bilgi, tutum ve davranışları incelendiğinde, %66'sının çalışan güvenliği ile ilgili eğitim almadığı, eğitim alma ile sınıflar arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark olduğu (p<0,05), %85,7'sinin iş sağlığı ve güvenliği kanununu okumadığı, %70,2'sinin iş kazalarına yönelik alınması gereken önlemleri bildiği, iş kazalarına yönelik alınması gereken önlemler ile okunulan sınıflar arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark olduğu (p<0,05), %93,3'ünün iş kazası durumunda bildirim yapması gerektiğini bildiği, %94,6'sının çalışan güvenlik önlemleri olarak eldiven kullanmayı, %80'inin bulaşıcı hastalıkları, %72,7'sinin kesici delici alet yaralanmalarını çalışan güvenliği açısından risk olarak gördüğü belirlendi.Sonuç: Öğrencilerin iş sağlığı ve güvenliği ile ilgili bilgilerinin arttırılmasına gereksinim vardır. Bunun için öğrencilerin konu ile ilgili teorik eğitimlerinin yanı sıra, görsel öğrenme teknikleri ve simülasyon uygulama yöntemleri kullanılarak bilgileri pekiştirilmelidir.

It is important that health workers are informed about occupational health and safety precautions. It is aimed to reduce the number of occupational accidents and occupational diseases that may occur in the future by increasing the knowledge and awareness about the safety of nursing students working in clinical application fields.Objective: To determine the level of knowledge and awareness of the nurses about working safetyMaterial and Method: The research was conducted with 315 students who were studying at the nursing school and who agreed to participate in the research. The data were gathered by the questionnaire form with the approval of the institution and approval of the ethics committee. The questionnaires were evaluated using the SPSS 22.0 program.Results: When the knowledge, attitudes and behaviors of the students about working security were examined, it was found that 66% of them did not receive training on working security, there was a statistically significant difference between the training and the classes (p <0,05), 85,7% of them do not read the occupational health and safety law, 70,2% of them knew the necessary precautions for work accidents, There was a statistically significant difference between the measures to be taken for work accidents and the classes read (p <0,05), 93,3% of them knew that they had to make a notification in case of work accidents, As a risk in terms of employee safety; 94,6% of them using gloves as working safety precautions, 80% of them infectious diseases and 72,7% of them cutter drill tool injuries are determined.Conclusion: It is necessary to increase the knowledge of the occupational health and safety of the students. Therefore; students should be encouraged to use visual learning techniques and simulation application methods as well as their theoretical training on the subject.
