Grafik tasarımda tipografinin yeri ve önemi

Abstract

Eski çağlardan bu yana gelişimini sürdüren yazı, tipografi sanatının ortaya çıkmasıyla grafik tasarım alanında önemli bir yere sahip olmuştur. Günümüz görsel iletişim alanın en önemli organlarından biri olan bilgisayar ile tipografinin buluşması hayatımızın her alanında görebileceğimiz yeni bir sanat ve ticaret alanı oluşturmuştur. Bu çalışma tipografinin tarihi, gelişim aşamaları, Dünya ve Türkiye'deki yeri ve önemini konu edinmektedir. İncelediğim konu doğrultusunda Türkiye'de ilk grafik tasarımcı olarak kabul edilen İhap Hulusi GÖREY' in , grafik tasarım ve tipografi alanında geçmişten geleceğe ışık tutan afiş çalışmalarına yer verilmiştir.

The writting, which continues to improve since ancient times, has had an important place in the field of graphic design thanks to the emergence of the art of typography. Combining of typography and computer that is one of the most important organ in the field of contemporary visual communication has constituted a new area of art and commerce which we can see in every part of our life.This study includes history of typography, stages of development of typography, role and importance of typography in the World and Turkey. In accordance with the line that I viewed, accepted as a prime graphic designer GÖREY Ilhap Hulusi's banner works that shed light on the past to the future in the field of graphic design and typography are mentioned.
