Erkek köşe yazarlarının kadına yönelik şiddet anlatımı

Abstract

Şiddet bir iletişimdir. Bu çalışma kadına yönelik şiddettin bir erkek sorunu olduğu üzerinedir. Kadınların mağduriyetleriyle gündem olabilmeleri sorunun bir kadın sorunu olarak algılanmasına neden olmuştur. Oysa, erkeğe yönelik şiddet vardır. Medya şiddeti reyting malzemesi olarak değerlendirir. Yapılan son çalışmalar çözüm için erkeklerin katılımı gereğini söyler.Çalışma erkek köşe yazarlarının 1 Ocak 2011 - 1 Ocak 2013 tarihleri arasındaki yazılarını içerik ve söylem analizi ile inceleyerek fikir verir. 40 yazının konusu kadına yönelik şiddettir. Erkek yazarların tarifine göre sorunu bir erkek sorunu olarak görülmektedir. Violence is a communication. This study is about that the violence against the women is actually a men's problem. The becoming of women on the agenda through their victimization has helped the problem to be perceived as a women's problem. However, there is violence against the men as well. The media assesses the violence as a mean for achieving rating. The recent studies on the issue indicate the required participation of the men for the solution. Throughout the study, how male columnists handle the violence against the women is analyzed. The content and critical discourse analyses have been applied to the column writings. It is determined that the male columnists have not fully represented the violence problem with all dimensions. Among the whole column writings of the newspapers monitored between 01 January 2011 and 01 January 2013, only the 40 column writings' theme is the violence against the women. It is identified that while discussing the violence against the women, the male columnists have reproduced the hegemonic ideological worldview.Key words: Violence, Social Sex, Turkish print media, Discourse Analysis,
