dc.description.abstractÖZET 1,3-İNDANDİONUN AMİNLERLE REAKSİYONLARININ İNCELENMESİ Onur TURHAN Balıkesir Üniversitesi, Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü, Kimya Anabilim Dalı ( Yüksek Lisans Tezi / Tez Danışmanı : Yrd. Doç. Dr. Hilmi NAMLI ) Balıkesir, 2003 Bu çalışmada bir 1,3-dikarbonil bileşiği olan 1,3-indandion dietilftalat ve etilasetattan sentezlenmiştir. 1,3-indandionun karbonil gruplarının aminlerle reaksiyonundan aşağıdaki imin/enamin ürünleri elde edilmiştir. [1,3- difeniliminoindan / l-fenilamino-3-fenilimino-l -inden (35a/35b), 1,3- didodesiliminoindan / l-dodesilamino-3-dodesilimino-l -inden (37a/37b),l,3- dibenziliminoindan / l-benzilamino-3-benzilimino-l -inden (39a/39b), siklo-bis- dietilidenil- 1,3,1 ',3 '-tetraiminoindan / siklo-bis-dietilidenil- 1,3 '-diamino- 1 ',3 -diimino- l,2'-diinden (41a-41b), siklo-bis-dipropilidenil-l,3,l',3'-tetraiminoindan / siklo-bis- dipropilidenil-l,3'-diamino-r,3-diimino-l,2'-diinden (43a-43b), l,3-di(p- metilfenil)iminoindan / l-(p-metilfenil)amino-3-(p-metilfenil)imino-l -inden (45a/45b), 1,3-dibütiliminoindan / l-bütilamino-3-bütilimino-l -inden (47a/47b)] 1,3-indandion asidik hidrojenlere sahip olduğu için aminlerle ilk olarak asit- baz reaksiyonu vermektedir. İlk aşamada gerçekleşen asit-baz reaksiyonu UV'deki absorbanslann değişimiyle incelenmiştir. UV çalışmasında kullanılan primer aminlerin 1,3-indandionun asidik hidrojenlerinden birini aldığı buna karşın bir aromatik amin olan anilinin 1,3-indandionun asidik hidrojenini almadığı gözlenmiştir. Anilin direk olarak nükleofil davranır. Asit-baz reaksiyonunun ikinci basamağında 1,3-indandionun aminlerle karbonil grubuna nükleofilik katılma reaksiyonu verdiği tespit edilmiş ve yapılar UV, İR, ve Ms spektrumlan ile açıklanmıştır. Thesis / Supervisor : Assist. Prof. Dr. Hilmi NAMLI ) Baukesir-Türkiye, 2003 In this study, 1,3-indandione which is 1,3-dicarbonyl compound was synthesized from diethylphthalide and ethyl acetate. From the reaction of amines and carbonyl group of 1,3-indandione following imine-enamine products were obtained [1,3-diphenyliminoindane /l-phenylamino-3-phenylimino-l-indene (35a/35b), 1,3- didodesyliminoindane/l-dodesylamino-3-dodesylimino-l-indene (37a/37b) 1,3- dibenzyliminoindane/l-benzylamino-3-benzylimino-l-indene, (39a/39b) ), cyclo- bis-diethylidenyl-l,3,l',3'-tetraiminoindan / cyclo-bis-diethylidenyl-l,3'-diamino- r,3-diimino-l,2'-diindene (41a/41b), cyclo-bis-dipropylidenyl-1,3,1',3'- tetraiminoindane / siklo-bis-dipropylidenyl- 1,3 '-diamino- 1 ',3 -diimino- 1,2'-diinden (43a-43b), 1,3-di(p-methylphenyl)iminoindane/l -(p-methylphenyl)imino-3-(p- methylphenyl) imino-1-indene (45a/45b) l,3-dibütyliminoindane/l-butylamino-3- butylimino-1-indene) (47a/47b) ] First reaction occurs as acid-base reaction because 1,3-indandione has acidic hydrogens. Acid-base reaction, which happens on the first step, was examined by the change of absorbances on UV spectra. On the UV studies it was observed that primer amines took one of the acidic hydrogen of 1,3-indandione but aniline, which is an aromatic amine, could not take the acidic hydrogen of 1,3-indandione. Aniline seems react as nucleophiles directly. It is clarified that 1,3-indandione with the amines give the nucleophilic addition to the carbonyl group to produce imines-enamines at the second step of the acid-base reaction and the structures were determined by UV, TR. and Ms spectra.
