İş sağlığı ve güvenliği programı önlisans öğrencilerinin kaygı ve umutsuzluk düzeylerinin demografik değişkenlere göre incelenmesi

Abstract

Çalışma alanlarına göre yüksek risk grupları arasında olan iş sağlığı güvenliğini üniversite öğrencileri, derslerde gördükleri teorik bilgilerini staj uygulamaları ile sahaya taşımaktadır. Bu süreç ekonomik özgürlüğe sahip olma ihtiyacı, iş bulabilme kaygısı, umutsuzluk, endişe gibi psikolojik sorunları da beraberinde getirmektedir. Bu çalışmada iş sağlığı ve güvenliği programı önlisans öğrencilerinin kaygı ve umutsuzluk düzeyleri bireysel özelliklerine göre manidar olarak farklılaşmakta mıdır? sorusuna yanıt aranmıştır. Araştırma ilişkisel tarama modelindedir. Araştırma grubu oluşturulurken olasılığa dayalı olmayan örnekleme yöntemlerinden uygun örnekleme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma 2017-2018 eğitim öğretim yılında Türkiye'de farklı üniversitelerde öğrenim gören iş sağlığı ve güvenliği önlisans programı öğrencilerinden elde edilen verilerle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Öğrencilerin kaygı ve umutsuzluk düzeylerini belirleyebilmek için Beck Umutsuzluk Ölçeği ve Sürekli Kaygı Envanteri uygulanmıştır. Aynı zamanda öğrencilerden akademik başarı, cinsiyet, iş deneyimi olup olmadığı, önlisans eğitiminin yeterli olup olmadığına dair demografik bilgilerden oluşan kişisel bilgi formu uygulanmıştır. Veriler normal dağılım gösterdiğinden dolayı parametrik yöntemler kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada iş sağlığı ve güvenliği önlisans öğrencilerinin kaygı ve umutsuzluk düzeylerinin akademik başarı, cinsiyet, iş deneyimi, eğitimin yeterliği değişkenlerine göre manidar olarak farklılaştığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

Occupational health and safety among the high risk groups according to the study areas, university students carry the theoretical knowledge they have seen in the courses to the field with internship practices. This process brings with it the psychological problems such as the need to have economic freedom, concern for finding a job, hopelessness and anxiety. In this study, do the anxiety and hopelessness levels of the associate students show significant differences according to the individual characteristics of the occupational health and safety program? has been sought. The research is in relational screening model. In the research group, non-random sampling method was used. Research 2017-2018 academic year studying at different universities in Turkey, occupational health and safety was conducted with data obtained from the associate degree program students. Beck Hopelessness Scale and Trait Anxiety Inventory were applied to determine anxiety and hopelessness levels of the students. At the same time, personal information form consisting of demographic information about whether academic achievement, gender, work experience is available, and whether associate degree is sufficient or not is applied. Since the data are normally distributed, parametric methods are used. In the study, it was concluded that the anxiety and hopelessness levels of the occupational health and safety associate students differed significantly according to the variables of academic achievement, gender, work experience and competency of education.
