Web tabanlı öğrenme yönetim sistemine ilişkin öğrenci ve öğretmen görüşleri

Abstract

Internet'in egitimde kullanılması ile yeni egitsel kaynak ve imkanlarortaya çıkmıstır. Bu çalısmanın amacı, açık kaynak kodlu ögrenim yönetimsistemlerinden biri olan Moodle'ı kullanarak ögrencilerin bir web destekliortamda iletisim düzeyini, web ve bilgisayar hakkındaki duygularını vememnuniyet düzeylerini incelemektir. Bu amaç dogrultusunda EgitimFakülteleri Bilgisayar ve Ögretim Teknolojileri Egitimi Bölümlerindeokutulmakta olan internet Ortamında Yazarlık Dilleri ve Uygulamaları dersininetkin ve verimli ögretimi amacıyla ders içerikleri ve çesitli etkinlikler Moodlearacılıgıyla Web ortamına aktarılmıstır. Yarıyıl sonunda örneklemdekiögrencilere ?Web Destekli Egitimin Etkililigi? anketi arastırmacı tarafındandüzenlenerek uygulanmıstır. Ayrıca ögretim üyeleri için görüsme formuhazırlanmıstır. Arastırmanın örneklemini Balıkesir Üniversitesi NecatibeyEgitim Fakültesi Bilgisayar ve Ögretim Teknolojileri Ögretmenligi 2005?2006Egitim Ögretim yılı 3. sınıf ögrencilerinden 55 kisi ve Balıkesir ÜniversitesiNecatibey Egitim Fakültesinde görev yapan 5 ögretim üyesi olusturmustur.Ögrencilerin büyük bir çogunlugu web destekli olarak verilen bu dersingerekliligi ve ögrenmeyi olumlu etkiledigi konusunda hemfikirdir. Gelenekselyöntemleri kullanarak bu dersi islemenin ögrenciler tarafından tercihedilmedigi, web destekli kursların ögrenciler için daha cazip oldugu yineçıkan sonuçlar arasındadır. Sonuçlar bilgisayar ve web hakkındaki ögrencigörüslerinin olumlu oldugunu göstermektedir. Ögrencilerin web destekliolarak verilen bu dersle ilgili iletisim düzeyleri, memnuniyet algıları nötrdür.Ögretim üyelerinin tamamı web destekli ögrenmeden faydalanmayıdüsünmekte ve Moodle gibi derslerin web destekli yürütüldügü bir ortamdaderslerini islemek istemektedirler.Anahtar Kelimeler: Uzaktan Egitim, Web Destekli Egitim, ÖgrenimYönetim Sistemleri, Moodle

The use of the Internet in education revealed new educational sourcesand opportunities. The aim of this study is to analyze students? level ofcommunication in a web supported environment, satisfaction and emotionsabout web and computers by using Moodle which is an open source learningmanagement system. For effective and productive instruction of the InternetAuthoring Languages and Applications lessons? contents are transferred tothe web environment by using Moodle which is given in Computer Educationand Instructional Technologies Department Of Education Faculties. At theend of the midterm the survey of the ?Effectivity of the web supportedlearning? has been organized and applied to the students by the researcher.Interview forms are prepared for lecturers as well. The sample of theresearch is formed by 55 3rd class students in 2005 ? 2006 school year inBalıkesir University Necatibey Faculty of Education Computer Education andInstructional Technologies Department and 5 lecturers at the BalıkesirUniversity Necatibey Faculty of Education.Most of the students have the same opinions about the necessity andits positive effect of the course that is given web supported. To take lessonsby traditional methods is not preferred by students and also web supportedcourses are more attracting for students. Results show students? opinionsabout web and computers are positive. Students? levels of communication,perception of satisfaction are neutral in a course which is given as websupported.All of the lecturers are willing to make use of web supported learningand they are willingly to make their lessons in an envoirnment which is websupported like Moodle.Key Words: Distance learning, Web Assisted Learning, Lms, Moodle
