dc.description.abstractBu çalısmada Aralık 2004 ? Ekim 2005 döneminde Zonguldak `taki PM2.5 vePM2.5-10 partiküllerin kütle ve iz element konsantrasyonları incelenmistir. PM2.5,PM2.5-10 ve PM10 ortalama kütle konsantrasyonları sırasıyla; 29.38 ?g/m3, 23.85?g/m3 ve 53.72 ?g/m3' tür. PM2,5 partiküllerin kıs ve yaz sezonu ortalamalarısırasıyla 34.17 ?g/m3, 25.03, PM10 partiküllerin kıs ve yaz sezonu ortalamaları ise63.59 ?g/m3, 41.83 ?g/m3' tür. Her iki partikül grubunda da ısınma mevsimindeyaza göre daha yüksek konsantrasyonlar gözlenmistir.PM elementel kompozisyonları (Al, Si, Ca, Fe, Ti, Mg, Zn, Pb, S, K, Mn, Cu,Ni, Cr) XRF yöntemiyle belirlenmistir. PM10 partiküllerdeki konsantrasyonlarıng/m3 olarak sırasıyla 590.61, 1358.22, 1187.80, 405.39, 58.18, 159.53, 84.63, 19.75,1132.57, 408.69, 19.64, 120.70, 5.89, 7.47' dir. Çalısma periyodu ortalamalarınagöre Pb, Zn ve S elementlerinin ince partiküllerde; Mg, Fe, Al, Ca, Ti, Sielementlerin kaba partiküllerde daha yogun bulundugu, Ni, Cr, Cu, K ve Mnelementlerinin ise iki partikül boyutunda yakın konsantrasyonlarda bulundugu tespitedilmistir.Karasal zenginlesme degerlerine göre S, Cu, Pb, Zn, Ni ve Cr elementlerininhem ince hem de kaba partiküllerde en çok zenginlesen elementler oldugu tespitedilmistir. Karasal zenginlesme ve faktör analizleri PM metal kompozisyonkaynagının daha çok antropojenik oldugunu göstermistir. nce partiküllerde Si-Al-Ca-Fe-Ti-Mg elementlerinin yerkabugu, toprak ve deniz; Zn-Pb-S-K-Mnelementlerinin trafik; Cu-Ni-Cr elementlerinin kentsel ısınma ve endüstri kaynaklıoldugu tespit edilmistir. Kaba partiküllerde Fe-Ca-Ti-Mg-Al-K-Mn elemetlerininyerkabugu, toprak ve deniz; Cu-Ni-Cr-Zn elemetlerinin kentsel ısınma ve endüstri;Pb-S-Si elementlerinin ise trafik kaynaklı oldugu tespit edilmistir.Anahtar Kelimeler: PM2.5 ve PM10 karakterizasyonu / elementel komozisyon /faktör analizi / Zonguldak.
dc.description.abstractIn this work, the total weight and metal concentration of PM2.5 ve PM2.5-10 hasbeen measured during December 2004 to October 2005. During this study period,the average mass concentration of PM2.5, PM2.5-10 and PM10 was found as 29.38?g/m3, 23.85 ?g/m3 and 53.72 ?g/m3 respectively. The average mass concentrationin heating seasons and in summer time was found 34.17 ?g/m3, 25.03 for Pm2,5 and63.59 ?g/m3, 41.83 ?g/m3 for PM10. Both of fine and coarse particles concentrationwas higher in heating seasons than in summer time.Elemental concentration of PM (Al, Si, Ca, Fe, Ti, Mg, Zn, PB, S, K, Mn, Cu,Ni, Cr) was determined by XRF technique. Average values of elements for PM10particles are found 590.61, 1358.22, 1187.80, 405.39, 58.18, 159.53, 84.63, 19.75,1132.57, 408.69, 19.64, 120.70, 5.89, 7.47 as ng/m3. During the study period Pb, Znand S were higher in fine particles; Mg, Fe, Al, Ca, Ti, Si were higher in coarseparticles. Ni, Cr, Cu, K ve Mn were nearly same in both of fine and coarse particles.According to enrichment values S, Cu, Pb, Zn, Ni and Cr were enriched inboth of fine and coarse fractions of aerosols. The statistical treatment of the data setusing enrichment factor (EF) and Factor analysis (FA) point out that the heavymetals are mainly enriched due to anthropogenic effects.. Factor analysis (FA) pointout that for PM2,5 Si-Al- Ca-Fe-Ti-Mg were emitted from natural crustal and marinesources, Zn-Pb-S-K-Mn emitted from traffic source, Cu-Ni-Cr were emitted fromdomestic heating and industrial sources; for PM2,5-10 Fe-Ca-Ti-Mg-Al-K-Mn wereemitted from natural crustal and marine sources, Cu-Ni-Cr-Zn domestic heating andindustrial sources, Pb-S-Si were emitted from traffic sources.Key words: PM2.5 and PM10 characterization / elemental composition / factoranalysis / Zonguldak.en_US
