dc.description.abstractBu çalışma Helichrysum plicatum ve Phlomis pungens bitkilerinin antioksidan aktivitesini incelemek amacı ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu amaçla bitki Erzincan ili Çayırlı ilçesinin Çilhorozu ve Sarıgüney köyünden toplandı, kurutuldu ve etanol ekstreleri hazırlandı. Hazırlanan etanol ekstreleri üzerinde ferrik tiyosiyanat metoduna göre total antioksidan aktivite, kuprak metodu ile Cu2+ ve potasyum ferriksiyanat indirgeme metodu ile Fe3+ iyonları indirgeme kapasitesi, 1,1-difenil-2-pikril-hidrazil (DPPH) giderme aktivitesi tayinleri ve toplam fenolik ve flavonoit bileşik miktar tayinleri yapıldı. Helichrysum plicatum ve Phlomis pungens bitkilerinden elde edilen 30 µg mL-1 konsantrasyonluk etanol ekstrelerinin linoleik asit emülsiyonunun lipit peroksidasyonunu sırasıyla %77,4 ve %70,2 inhibe ettiği gözlendi. Aynı konsantrasyonda ?-tokoferol %85,3 ve troloks %83,1' lik bir inhibisyona sebep oldu. Toplam fenolik ve flavonoit içeriği ve Phlomis pungens'den daha fazla olduğu tesbit edilen bitkilerden Helichrysum plicatum yine daha yüksek DPPH giderme aktivitesi sergiledi. Etanol ekstiresi çıkarılan Helichrysum plicatum ve Phlomis pungens bitkilerinin antioksidan aktiviteleri araştırılırken, butillenmiş hidroksi toluen (BHT), ?-tocopherol ve onun suda çözünen bir analoğu olan troloks referans antioksidan bileşikleri olarak kullanıldı.2012, 61 sayfaAnahtar Kelimeler: Helichrysum plicatum, Phlomis pungens, Antioksidan aktivite, Metal indirgeme
dc.description.abstractThis study is aimed to examine the antioxidant activities of Helichrysum plicatum and Phlomis pungens plants. For this purpose, plants were collected from Çilhorozu and Sarıgüney which is the village of Çayırlı, a town of Erzincan province, and they were dried and ethanol extractions were prepared. On prepared ethanol extraction total antioxidant activity was determined by ferroccyanate reduction method; Cu2+ and potassium ferric thiocyanate were determined by Cuprac method; was determined by reduction method capacity of Fe3+ ions; the activitiy of scavenging of 1,1-diphenyl-2-picryl-hydrazyl (DPPH) was determined; the total amount of the compounds of phenolic and flavonoid was determined. It was observed that 30 µg mL-1 concentrated of ethanol extracts obtained from Helichrysum plicatum and Phlomis pungens plants inhibited the lipid peroxidation of linoleic acid emulsion as 77,4 % and 70,2% respectively. In the same concentration, ?-tokoferol and trolox caused inhibitions of 85,3 % and 83,1 %, respectively. Helichrysum plicatum plant in which it was detected that the content of total phenolic and flavonoid were much more than those in Phlomis pungens plant still displayed higher DPPH scavenging activity.
