Do alradyoaktif çekirdekler taraf ndan olu turulan çevresel dozun hesaplanmas , insanlar taraf ndanal nan toplam çevresel dozun önemli bir k sm n n bilinmesi aç s ndan önem ta maktad r.Bu çal mada, çevresel radyasyonu ölçebilen gama spektrometre sistemi tan mland . Vesistem ile ilgili çe itli deneyler yap ld . Gama radyasyonun madde ile etkile mesi ve buradyasyonun insan sa l üzerine olan etkileri incelendi. nsanlar n Kütahya da gama karasalradyasyonlar taraf ndan ald radyasyon dozu ara t r ld .Kütahya merkezinden 20 adet toprak numunesi topland ve bu numunelerin do alradyasyonlar ölçüldü.Anahtar Kelimeler: Gama Spektroskopisi, NaI(Tl) Spektrometresi.
dc.description.abstractAll living creatures on earth are exposed to natural radiation. Natural external radiationconsists of cosmic rays and terrestrial radiation. U-238, Th-232 and K-40 are the main naturalcontributors to external exposure from gamma terrestrial radiation. Calculation ofenvironmental dose levels produced by natural radioactive nuclei enables us to establish animportant component of the total environmental dose received by man.In this work, gamma spectroscopy system that measures environmental radiation ispresented. Various experiments related to spectroscopy system are conducted. Interactions ofgamma radiation with matter and the effects of this radiation on human health are investigated.Radiation dose received by man exposed to gamma terrestrial radiation in Kütahya is presented.Also, 20 soil samples in central Kütahya were collected and the terrestrial radiation forthese samples was measured.Key Words: Gamma Spectroscopy, NaI(Tl) Spectrometers.en_US
