THE SUMMARY Yacht tourism that is getting popularity in world tourism recently is sustaining its development in Caribbean Islands and Mediterranean Region. Yacht tourism ; with its floating hotel characteristic, yacht tourists' spending dollar over average spending, its being an effective promotional tool, its recruitment- increased characteristic, being an alternative to pollution derived from tourism and concrete construction of tourism, is an important tourism type with all these major advantages. The countries being aware of the importance of yacht tourism within the world tourism share, started to build great size yacht ports as the result of understanding that implies ` yacht tourism can not be developed without yacht ports`. Turkey tend to give attention to yacht tourism as an understanding that implies `without supply, no demand`, so that Turkey try to benefit from 700,000 yacht tourists travelling in Mediterranean Coasts and favour Eastern Mediterranean. By this reason, Turkey started to build yacht ports quickly in order to gain share after the completion of The Yacht Tourism Master Plan. Within the content of this research, current situations, main problems and solutions of Turkish Yacht Tourism were evaluated comparatively with Mediterranean Countries A.s a goal, the projection of Çanakkale with its 67 1 km coastal line, its rich yacht tourism potentials of which the tourists look for were presented By studying potential for requirements and improvements of yacht tourism in Çanakkale Count): where there is no share given in Turkish Yacht Tourism, its influences on county economics was studied by keeping the negative points of tourism-environment interactions in mind.
