Bursa Yeşil Cami çinileri

Abstract

Bir Erken Osmanlı yapısı olan Bursa Yeşil Cami 1419-1420 yılları arasında Çelebi Mehmet Çelebi (1402?1421) tarafından yaptırılmıştır. Çelebi Mehmet'in erken ölümü nedeniyle II. Murat (1436) yapının süslemelerini devam ettirmiş ve 1424 yılında tamamlatmıştır.Bursa Yeşil Cami, Bursa ilinin Yeşil semtinde ovaya bakan sırtta, şehir merkezinin doğusunda, Set Başı Köprüsü'nün yakınında, Çelebi Mehmet Bey ve Emir Sultan Caddeleri arasındaki bölgede yer alır. Ana cadde üzerinde şehrin kuzey ve kuzey batı manzarasına hâkim yüksek bir noktasındadır.Altı ana bölümden oluşan tez çalışmamızda, Bursa Yeşil Cami'nin çinileri kompozisyon, motif, malzeme, form, teknik ve üslupları ile ayrıntılı bir şekilde tanıtılmıştır.Bursa Yeşil Cami çinileri gerek teknik ve gerekse süsleme özellikleri ile Erken Osmanlı Çini Sanatı'nın karakteristik eserlerinden biridir. Bu dönemde; tek renk düz çiniler, çini mozaik tekniği, mavi-beyaz ve döneme damgasını vuran renkli sır tekniğinde yapılmış çiniler görülmektedir. Renkli sır tekniği çinilerinin, tekniği ve yapım yeri konusunda henüz net bir sonuca varılamamıştır. Osmanlı Dönemi çinilerinin imalat merkezi olan İznik'te yapılan kazılarda sadece ufak parça halinde renkli sır tekniğiyle yapılmış çiniler bulunmuştur. Bursa, Edirne ve İstanbul'daki yapılarda kullanılan renkli sır tekniğiyle yapılmış çinilerin, yapıların yakınında kurulan geçici atölyelerde üretilmiş olduğu düşünülmektedir.

Bursa Green Mosque, one of the early Ottoman Buildings, was constructed during 1419-1420 in Çelebi Mehmet period. Due to the early death of Çelebi Mehmet, Murat II completed the construction in 1424 by finishing the final adornment.Bursa Green Mosque is located in Yeşil district of Bursa on the slope looking to the plain; east to the city center; near by Set Başı Bridge, between the Çelebi Mehmet and Emir Sultan Streets. It is on the high point of main street having the Nort and North-West view of the city.Our Study contains six chapters and focused on Turkish traditional tile art in the sense of composition, design, material, form, techniques and style in details. Besides this the locations of tiles on the buildings have been examined in the sense of form, composition and techniques.Bursa Green Mosque is one of the characteristic pieces of art of early Ottoman tile art with its technical and adornment properties. It is also the first important construction with tiles in early Ottoman period. One color plain tile technique, tile mosaic technique, blue-white and colorful glazed tiles technique that is marked the period have been widely seen during this period. It is still controversial the emerging place and techniques of colorful glazed tiles. During the excavation in Iznik that is manufacturing center of Ottoman tiles, only some small pieces of colorful glazed tiles were found. It is thought that colorful glaze tiles that were used in buildings in Bursa, Edirne and Istanbul had been manufactured in temporary workshops close to these buildings.
