dc.description.abstractNüfusun özelliklerini ve değişimini bilmek bir ülkenin özellikle eğitim ve yatırım politikalarını belirlemek için göz önünde bulundurması gereken en önemli kriterlerin başında gelmektedir. Bu çalışmada Türkiye'nin en önemli tarım ve turizm alanlarından birini oluşturan Edremit Körfezi'nde yer alan ilçelerin nüfus özellikleri ve değişimi incelenerek araştırma sahamızda yapılması planlanan muhtemel yatırım politikalarına veri oluşturması amaçlanmıştır.Bu amaç doğrultusunda araştırma sahasının fiziki coğrafya özellikleri araştırılarak nüfus üzerine etkisi ortaya konulmuş, daha sonra Türkiye İstatistik Kurumu'ndan (TÜİK) Edremit Körfezi'ni oluşturan Ayvacık,Ayvalık, Burhaniye, Edremit ve Havran ilçelerinin nüfus verileri alınarak genelden özele doğru incelenmiş, tablo ve grafiklerle nüfus özellikleri açıklanmaya çalışılmış olup Edremit Körfezi'nde yer alan ilçelerin nüfus özellikleri ve değişiminin sonuçları ortaya konulmuştur.Anahtar Kelimeler:Edremit Körfezi, Nüfus, Nüfus Dağılışı Nüfus Yoğunluğu
dc.description.abstractKnowing the characteristics of the population is one of themostimportantcriteriafordeterminingtheeducationandinvestmentpolicies of a country. Edremit Bay anditssurroundingsconstitutethemostimportantagriculturalandtourismareas in Turkey. Inthisstudy, it wasaimedtoanalyzethepopulationcharacteristics of Edremit Bay anditsenvirons, whichconstituteone of the mostimportant agricultural and tourismareas of Turkey, andtocreatedata on the possibleinvest mentpoliciesplannedto be made in ourresearcharea. Forthispurpose, the physical geography characteristics of therese archareawereinvestigatedand theinfluence of the populationwasrevealed.
