dc.description.abstractIn this study, productibility of low ash coal from the Zonguldak coalwas investigated. For this purpose, for the investigation of liberation, coalsample was ground to five different fine coal fractions. These fractions were -600,-250, -125, -63 and -P $JJORPHUDtion, flotation and aggloflotationexperiments were all carried out with these fractions. After experiments,optimum conditions for each size fraction was determined. Furthermore ,approximately 6 kg coal sample was prepared in -PVL]HIUDFWLRQand this sample was subjected to sink-float and MGS ( multi-gravityseperator) experiments. From these experiments, products with %9,25 and%10,47 ash content was taken respectively. With these concentrates,aglomeration and aggloflotation experiments were carried out.The product which was taken from aggloflotation experiment wasrefloated without adding any reagent for advanced cleaning. By thisprocedure, when -P VLQN-float product was used as a sample for two-stage aggloflotation experiment, 3,95% ash content coal was achieved with39,70% combustible recovery and 89,44% ash rejection.KEY WORDS: Agglomeration, Flotation, Aggloflotation, Sink-float,MGS, Coalen_US
