Bu çalışmada Balıkesir ili ve çevresinden toplanan Mentha pulegium L, Mentha longifolia L. ve Mentha aquatica L., bitkilerinin Soxhlet cihazında etanol ile ekstrasyonu yapıldı. Bu çözeltilerden 50 ?L alınarak disk difüzyon yöntemi ile Bacillus cereus ATCC 7064, Bacillus subtilis ATCC 6633, Escherichia coli ATCC 11230, Enterobacter aerogenes ATCC 13048, Micrococcus luteus ATCC 9341, Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 6538, Pseudomonas aeruginosa ATCC 27853, Salmonella typhimurium CCM 5445, Proteus vulgaris ATCC 6899, Candida albicans ATCC 10239, Debaryomyces hansenii DSM 70238, Kluyveromyces fragilis ATCC 8608, Rhodotorula rubra DSM 70403 test mikroorganizmalarına karşı antimikrobiyal aktiviteleri araştırıldı.Bulgulara göre, çalışmada kullanılan Mentha L. türlerinin tüm test mikroorganizmalara karşı antimikrobiyal aktivitelerinin etkili olduğu sonucuna varıldı.
In this study, the extraction of the plants of Mentha pulegium L, Mentha longifolia L. and Mentha aquatica L., which have been collected in Balıkesir and its province, were done in the Soxhlet appratus. The antimicrobial activities were investigated against the test microorganisms such as Bacillus cereus ATCC 7064, Bacillus subtilis ATCC 6633, Escherichia coli ATCC 11230, Enterobacter aerogenes ATCC 13048, Micrococcus luteus ATCC 9341, Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 6538, Pseudomonas aeruginosa ATCC 27853, Salmonella typhimurium CCM 5445, Proteus vulgaris ATCC 6899, Candida albicans ATCC 10239, Debaryomyces hansenii DSM 70238, Kluyveromyces fragilis ATCC 8608, Rhodotorula rubra DSM 70403 with the disc diffusion method by taking 50 ?L from this solution.According to findings, we reached a conclusion that the antimicrobial activities of the Mentha L. used in the study are effective to all the microorganisms.en_US
