dc.description.abstractDoktora tezi kapsamında yapılan çalışmalar üç aşamada gerçekleştirildi. İlk aşamada, 3,5-diaminobenzoik asit ve 4,4'-diaminobenzanilit'in sırasıyla 4-hidroksi benzaldehit, salisil aldehit, 2-hidroksi-1-naftaldehit ve vanilin ile Schiff bazları sentezlendi. Elde edilen Schiff bazlarının polimerleri, bazik sulu ortamda yükseltgeyici olarak NaOCl oksidantı varlığında oksidatif polikondenzasyon yöntemiyle sentezlendi. İkinci aşamada 3,5-diaminobenzoik asit ve 4,4'-diaminobenzanilit'in ayrı ayrı vanilin ve 4-hidroksi benzaldehit ile sentezlenen Schiff bazlarının polimerleri, katalitik oksidatif polikondenzasyon yöntemiyle sentezlendi. Son aşamada 2,5-diaminobenzen sülfonik asit, o-tolidin, 2,2'-ditiyodianilin, 4,4'-diamino-2,2'-bifenil sülfonik asit, 3,4-diaminobenzoik asit, 3,5-diaminobenzoik asit, 4,4'-diaminobenzanilit gibi aromatik halkada farklı fonksiyonel grupları içeren aminler, ilk aşamada söz edilen yöntem ile polimerleştirildi. Sentezlenen bu bileşiklerin, FT-IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, ortalama mol kütlesi ve yüzey morfolojisi ile yapısal karakterizasyonu, UV-vis ve floresans ölçümleri ile optiksel, CV ile elekrokimyasal davranışları ve TG, DTA, DSC ölçümleri ile termal özellikleri incelendi. Bunların yanısıra sentezlenen Schiff bazı ve polimerlerin farklı organik çözücüler içerisindeki çözünme durumları incelendi.
dc.description.abstractThe studies done within the context of dissertation were carried out in three stages. In the first stage, Schiff base compounds were synthesized with the condensation reactions of 3,5-diaminobenzoic acid and 4,4'-diaminobenzanilit with 4-hydroxybenzaldehyde, salicylaldehyde, 2-hydroxy-1-naftaldehyde, and vanillin. The polymers of the obtained Schiff bases were synthesized in aqueous alkaline medium by oxidative polycondensation method using NaOCl as the oxidant. In the second stage, polyphenol derivatives of some Schiff bases, which were obtained from the reactions of 3,5-diaminobenzoic acid and 4,4'-diaminobenzanilit with vanillin and 4-hydroxy benzaldehyde, were synthesized using the catalytic oxidative polycondensation method. In the last stage the amines such as 2,5-diaminobenzene sulfonic acid, o-tolidine, 2,2'-dithiodianiline, 4,4'-diamino-2,2'-biphenyl sulfonic acid, 3,4-diaminobenzoic acid, 3,5-diaminobenzoic acid, 4,4'-diaminobenzanilide which include different functional groups in the aromatic ring were polymerized using the above mentioned method in the first stage. Structural characterizations of the synthesized compounds were carried out by FT-IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, average molecular weight, surface morphology, optical properties by UV-vis and fluorescence measurements, electrochemical behaviours with CV, and thermal characterizations by TG, DTA, and DSC measurements. Additionally, the solubilities of the synthesized Schiff bases and the polymers in different organic solvents were investigated.en_US
