Üniversite öğrencilerinin aile ve evliliğe ilişkin görüşlerinin belirlenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, yaşanan hızlı değişimlerle beraber günümüz üniversite öğrencilerinin aile ve evlilikle ilgili güncel beklentilerinin ve görüşlerinin belirlenmesidir. Betimsel tarama modelini esas alan bu araştırma, İstanbul'da bulunan Bahçeşehir ve Marmara Üniversitelerinde okuyan 383 öğrencinin katılımı ile tamamlanmıştır. Öğrencilerin evlilik ve aile ile ilgili beklentilerini sorgulayan anket formu hazırlanmıştır. Çalışmaya katılan öğrencilerin yüzde 50.3'u Marmara Üniversitesi, yüzde 49.7'i ise Bahçeşehir Üniversitesi'nde öğrenim görmekte ve yüzde 61.6'sı kadın, yüzde 38.4'ü ise erkektir. Kadın öğrencilerin yüzde 66.1'i ve erkek öğrencilerin yüzde 57.8'i evlenecekleri kişiyi seçmede önce kendileri karar verreceğini, kadın öğrencilerin yüzde 97.9'u ve erkek öğrencilerin yüzde 93.8'i eşinin ailesi ile yaşamayı (aynı evde) istememekte, kadın öğrencilerin yüzde 84.3'ü ve erkek öğrencilerin yüzde 83.7'si evlilik öncesi flörtü onaylamakta, kadın öğrencilerin yüzde 24.2'si ve erkek öğrencilerin yüzde 46.9'u evlilik öncesinde evlenmeyi düşündüğü kadın partneri ile cinsel ilişkide bulunmayı onaylamakta kadın öğrencilerin yüzde 60.6'sı ve erkek öğrencilerin yüzde 32'si karşı çıkmakta, kadın öğrencilerin çoğunluğu evlenmeyi düşündükleri partnerlerininin mesleğinin ilk sırada mühendisleri tercih etmekte, ikinci sırada öğretmen ve erkek öğrenciler ise ilk sırada öğretmen ve doktorları tercih ederken, kadınların yüzde 47.5'i ve erkeklerin yüzde 43.5'i eşinin mesleğinin kendileri için farketmediğini, kadın öğrencilerin yüzde 36.4'ü ve erkek öğrencilerin yüzde 30.6'sı eşcinsel evliliği onaylamakta, kadınların yüzde 43.6'sı ve erkeklerin yüzde 52.4'ü karşı çıkmakta, kadın öğrencilerin yüzde 14.8'i ve erkek öğrencilerin yüzde 19'u evlilik öncesi yapılan evlilik sözleşmesini onaylamakta, kadın öğrencilerin yüzde 55.5'i, erkeklerin yüzde 58.5'i karşı çıkmaktadır. The aim of this project is to determine the updated expectations and thoughts of the university students about the family and marriage with the rapid changes in the world. This research based on the Descriptive Survey Model is completed with the 383 students in Başakşehir and Marmara Universities in Istanbul. A survey form is prepared questioning the expectations of the students about the marriage and family.The 50.3 percentage of the students attended to the research is from Marmara University, 49.7 percentage of them is from Başakşehir University and 61.6 percentage of them is female and 38.4 percentage of them is male. 66.1 percentage of the female students and 57.8 percentage of the male students prefer choosing the person with whom they want to marry on their own. 97.9 percentage of the female students and 93.8 percentage of the male students do not want to live in the same home with the parents, 84.3 percentage of the female students and 83.7 percentage of the male students approval the flirt before the marriage, 24.2 percentage of the female students and 46.9 percentage of the male students approval the sexual act with the person whom they want to marry, 60.6 percentage of the female students and 32 percentage of the male students object this situation, the most of the females prefer the engineers as husband and secondly the teachers. Males prefer the teachers and doctors as wife. In addition, 47.5 percentage of the females and 43.5 percentage of the males prefer the jobs of their husbands and wife indiscriminatingly. 36.4 percentage of the females and 30.6 percentage of the males approval the same- sex marriage, 43.6 percentage of the females and 52.4 percentage of the males object this. 14.8 percentage of the females and 19 percentage of the males approval the settlement before marriage. 55.5 percentage of the females and 58.5 percentage of the males object this.Key Words: Marriage, Flirt, Settlement, Same-Sex Marriage, Sexuality
