Kentsel mekânın dönüşümü: 2000`li yıllarda Türkiye / İstanbul`da gecekondulaşma

Abstract

Kentsel mekânın dönüşmesinde çeşitli unsurlar, süreçler etkide bulunur. Gecekondu ve gecekondulaşma da bu unsurlardan ve süreçlerden birisidir. Dünyada olduğu gibi Türkiye'de de kentsel dönüşüm etkinliklerinden çoğu gecekondu alanlarını kapsar. Gecekondu ve gecekondulaşma, azgelişmiş ve gelişmekte olan ülkelerin önemli sorunudur. Bu sorunun temelinde bu ülkelerdeki az gelişmişlik, devletin tutumu, ekonomik, yönetsel ve sosyal yetersizlikler yatar. Türkiye'de de böyledir. Ankara'nın başkent olmasından sonra başlayan ve özellikle İkinci Dünya Savaşı'ndan sonra ciddi bir hal alan gecekondu ve gecekondulaşma 2000'li yıllarda yeni özelliklere sahiptir. In the transformation of urban space various elements, processes have impact. One of these elements and processes is squatter and squattering. As in the world, most of the applications of urban transformation include the squatter areas in also Turkey. Squatter and squattering are the important problem of less developed and developing countries. Less development, behaviour of the state, economic, political and social inefficiencies stand in the base of this problem. It is so in Turkey. Squatter and squattering which began after being as a capital of Ankara and specially gained a serious state had new characteristics in the years of 2000s.
