Atatürk Dönemi Türk dil kurultayları ve Türk dünyası

Abstract

12 Temmuz 1932'de Tük Dili Tetkik Cemiyeti'nin kurulmasının ardından Birinci Türk Dili Kurultayı 26 Eylül 1932'de toplandı. Temel amaç Türk Dili'nin zenginliğini ortaya koymak ve onun dünya dilleri arasında hak ettiği yeri almasıydı. 5 Ekim 1932'ye kadar süren kurultayda, Türk Dili'nin kökeni, önemi, diğer diller ile olan ilişkisi üzerinde duruldu. Türk halkının yazı dilini anlayamadığı ve Türkçe'nin özbenliğini yitirdiği sonucuna varıldı. Yabancı kelimelerin atılarak dilde sadeleşme, öze dönüş ve yeni Türkçe sözcüklerin türetilmesi kararı alındı. İkinci Türk Dili Kurultayı, ise 18 Ağustos 1934'de toplandı. Burada da yine Türkçenin dünya dilleri arasındaki yeri ve 1932-1934 arasında yapılan çalışmalar ortaya koyuldu. Konu ile ilgili yabancı bilim insanları da bildiri sundu. Ayrıca söz derleme çalışmalarının kapsamı genişletildi ve folklor çalışmalarına da başlandı. 1934'de `Osmanlıca'dan Türkçe'ye Söz Karşılıkları Tarama Dergisi` yayınlanmaya başladı. Yine dönemin gazete ve dergileri de öz Türkçe'nin önemini vurgulayan yazıları halk ile paylaştı.Üçüncü Türk Dil Kurultayı ise 24 Ağustos 1936'da toplandı. Burada görüşülen asıl konu ise `Güneş Dil Teorisi` idi. Temel amaç Türkçe'nin en eski medeniyet dillerinden biri olduğu ve diğer dünya dillerine ise kaynaklık ettiğini orta koymaktı. Konu ile ilgili yerli ve yabancı birçok bilim insanı bildiri sundu. Türk Dil Kurultayları Türk dünyası ile olan bağları güçlendirmek için önemli bir etkinlikti. Dilde birliği millet olmanın asli unsuruydu.

After the establishment of the Turkish Language Survey Association in July 12, 1932, the first Turkish Language Congress was held on 26 September 1932. The main purpose was to reveal the richness of the Turkish language so that it takes its true place among the world languages. The congress which was held until October 5, 1932, focused on the origin and importance of the Turkish language and its relationship with other languages. İt was concluded that Turkish people could not understand the written language and that Turkish language has lost its true identity. İt was decided that the foreign words should be discarded to make Turkish as pure as it originally was and that new Turkish words should be derived.The second Turkish Language Congress was held on 18 August 1934. The topics discussed were the place of Turkish among the languages of the world and the studies carried out between 1932-1934. Foreign scholars also presented their papers on the subject. İn addition, the scope of the vocabulary compilation has been expanded and works on forklore have begun. The journal of `From Ottoman into Turkish Vocabulary` started to be published and the newspapers and magazines of that era also shared with the public articles emphasizing the importance of the Turkish Language.The Third Turkish Language Congress was held on August 24, 1936. The main topic was `The Solar Language Theory`. The main aim was to shed light on the fact that Turkish is one of the oldest civilization languages that it has been a derivation source for other languages of the world. Many local and foreign scientists made their presentations on the subject. The Turkish language congresses are important events in strengthening ties among members of the Turkic world. Language unity is the main element of being a nation.
