dc.description.abstract | ABSTRACT If we examine carefully to make and embellish musical instrument, we will notice this artisan and written sources's deficiency. We know to be musical instrument museums in every developed countries. But there isn't a musical instrument museum in our country yet. Moreover, the private collection's musical instruments lost and suffer harm in the course of time. Because we haven't enough to keep and repair conditions. We therefore should establish that private collection's musical instrument. We should document and transfer this informations to the future generation. This subject matter is very important to the Traditional Turkish Musical instruments and Embellishments. So we studied to Hilmi Güner ÖZKAN's musical instrument collection. The prepared to thesis had been taken form from two parts. In the first part, we have explained to musical instrument embellishment and materials, tool, technique, embellish's elements ( writing, style and motifs). Moreover, the first part has been prepared ground for second part. The thessis's second part. In this part to introduce H. Güner ÖZKAN and his instrument collection. And that to examined carefully embellishment instruments in collection, design peculiarities, embellishment technique and style. In the new applied, we had to do planing musical's instrument's embellishment. If this plans can improve, this motifs will be a catologue. We think that, The Traditional Turkish Embellishments can be used by luthiers spearedly. VII | |
