Günümüzde `Heykelsi biçim` kavramının uygulamalı sanat disiplinleri kapsamında incelenmesi - Endüstriyel tasarım, tekstil ve mimari

Abstract

Özellikle 1960 sonrasında sanatın yol haritasının bulanıklaştığı görülmektedir. Heykelsi biçim kavramının Mimari, Tekstil ve Endüstriyel Tasarım disiplinleri kapsamında ele alınarak incelendiği bu çalışmada; sanatçıları ve üretim metotlarını belli bir kategori/akım içerisinde incelemek yerine, heykel ve bulunduğu alanı sorgulayan dominant aktörler ve üretimleri araştırılmıştır.Bu bakış açısı ile ilk bölümde yer alan Heykel Alanının Genişleme Süreci' başlığı altında; 1900'lü yıllarda Rodin ve Brancusi'nin anıt heykel mantığının değişiminde öncülük etmesinden söz edilmektedir. Kavramsal sanat ve hazır nesne 1960'larda 'yaygın bir anlayış' haline gelmeden önce Duchamp, 1917 yılına tarihlenen `Çeşme` ile geleneksel heykelin izlediği rotayı değiştirerek; hazır nesne, estetik biçim, sanatçı rolü ve bunun gibi birçok unsuru gündeme taşımıştır. Heykel disiplininin, iki büyük dünya savaşı ve yaşanan sosyal ve kültürel değişimlerin ardından; performans, happening, video sanatı, land art, enstalasyon gibi üretimler ile yaşadığı hareketlilik sonucunda sınırlarının genişlediği gözlenmiştir. Çalışmanın ikinci bölümünde, heykelle diyalog içerisine olan tasarım ve uygulamalı sanat disiplinlerinin arasından seçilen; mimari, tekstil ve endüstriyel tasarım disiplinlerinin, tanım, kavram ve tarihsel süreçlerinin konuya bir giriş niteliği taşıması hedeflenmiştir.Sonraki bölümlerde; özellikle 21. yüzyılın günümüze kadarki bölümünde; belirlenen kapsam içerisindeki alanlar incelenerek, `heykelsi` unsurların nerelerde kendini gösterdiği ve bu unsurların heykel ile eş doğrultudaki karakteristik özellikleri ortaya çıkarılmaya çalışılmıştır.

Especially after 1960, it's observed that the route map of art has blurred. In this study where the sculptural form is analyzed within the scope of Architecture, Textile and Industrial Design disciplines; instead of examining the artists and their production methods in a certain category/ movement, dominant actors and their productions are researched, of which interrogate sculpture and the area it's positioned.With this perspective, under the heading `Area of Sculpture's Expanding Process` which takes place in the first chapter; Rodin and Brancusi pioneering the transition of monumental sculpture perception in the 1900's is told. Before conceptual art and found object has become extensive in the 1960's, Duchamp has changed the route of traditional sculpture with `Fountain` in 1917 and made found object, aesthetic form, artist's role and many others, current issue. After two world wars, social and cultural changes and as a consequence of productions like performance, happening, video art, land art and installation, limits of the discipline of sculpture has extended. In the second chapter of the study, architecture, textile and industrial design are chosen among the design and applied art disciplines that are in dialogue with sculpture and their definitions, concepts and historical development processes are aimed to be introductory for the subject.Next chapters, especially the 21st century up to date includes the study of the specified areas in the content, detecting the `sculptural` elements and trying to reveal the equivalent characteristics of these elements with sculpture.
