Din Eğitimi ve Kültür İlişkisi: DKAB Dersi Örneği

Abstract

Bu çalışma; bireylerin, kültürü sistematik bir şekilde öğrenmesine katkı sağlayan derslerden biri olan Din Kültürü ve Ahlak Bilgisi Dersi (DKAB) 2018 Öğretim Programında (İlkokul 4 ve Ortaokul 5, 6, 7 ve 8. Sınıflar) kültürün ele alınışını değerlendirmek amacıyla yapılmıştır. DKAB dersi öğretim programında bizzat kültürün ele alınmamış olması ve çalışmanın Milli Eğitim Bakanlığına, Talim ve Terbiye Kurulu Başkanlığına, öğretmenlere katkı sağlayacağı düşüncesi bu çalışmayı önemli kılmaktadır.Çalışma nitel araştırma yöntemi desenlerinden biri olan durum çalışmasına göre tasarlanmıştır. Yapılan bu çalışmada, DKAB dersi öğretim programında kültürün ele alınışı bir durum olarak kabul edilerek yola çıkılmıştır. Çalışmada veri toplama tekniği olarak literatür taraması kullanılmıştır. Bu kapsamda konu ile ilgili kültür ve din eğitimi bilimi alanındaki sempozyumlar, makaleler, tezler, kitaplar taranmış ve veriler elde edilmiştir. Veriler içerik analizi yöntemiyle değerlendirilmiştir. DKAB öğretim programı ve ders kitapları içerik analizine tabi tutulmuştur. Ders adından başlamak üzere; öğretim programının ünitelerinde, konularında, kazanımlarında kazanım açıklamalarında ve ders kitabında kültüre yer verilmektedir. Öğretim programının öğrencilere, yaşadığı toplumun kültürünü kazandırmayı ve daha sonra kültüre katkı sağlamayı amaçladığı ve içeriği bu perspektifle tasarladığı görülmektedir. Programda; toplumun çok kültürlü yapısının tanınmakta fakat ders kitabında içerik bu doğrultuda düzenlenmemektedir.

This study was conducted in order to evaluate the handling of culture in Religious Culture and Ethics 2018 Curriculum (Primary school 4, and secondary school 5,6,7,8 grades) which is one of the lessons that contributes to individuals systematically learning to culture. The fact that culture is not addressed directly in the Religious Culture and Ethics Curriculum and the idea that this study will contribute to the Ministry of National Education, Board of Education and Discipline and teachers, make this study important.This study was designed according to the case study which is one of the qualitative research method designs. This study was started off by accepting the way of handling the culture as a situation in Religious Culture and Ethics Curriculum. Literature review was used as data collection method in the study. Within this framework, symposiums that are in the field of culture and religious education which are related to subject, articles, theses, books were scanned and data were obtained. Data were evaluated by using content analysis method. Religious Culture and Ethics Curriculum and textbook were subjected to content analysis. Beginning with the course name; Culture is included in the units, subjects, outcome, and outcome explanations of curriculum and in the textbook. It is seen that Curriculum aims to provide society's culture to pupils and later contribute to culture and designed the content with this perspective. In the Curriculum it is seen that the multicultural structure of the society is recognized but the content in the textbooks is not organized accordingly.
