Erzurum ili ilkokul 4. ve 5. sınıf çocuklarının ağız ve diş sağlığı konusundaki bilgi, tutum ve davranış düzeylerinin araştırılması

Abstract

ÖZET Araştırma Erzurum İl Merkezi 8 Sağlık Ocağı Bölgesindeki 49 İlkokuldan seçilen 10 ilkokulun 4. ve 5. sınıf öğrencilerinden 675 kişi üzerinden yürütüldü. Öğrencilere 26 sorudan oluşan, anket uygulandı. Klinik muayeneler yapıldı. Anket sorularından elde edilen cevaplar ve klinik muayene bulguları istatistiksel olarak analiz edildi ve sonuçlar literatürlerle karşılaştırıldı. Öğrencilerin, ağız diş sağlığı hakkında yeterli bilgiye sahip olmadıkları, yüzde 35.1'nin dişlerindeki çürükleri tedavi ettirmek yerine, çekimi tercih ettikleri bulundu. Öğrencilerin yüzde 63.7'sinin dişlerini fırçalamalarına rağmen ağız hijyenlerinin kötü olduğu tesbit edildi. Öğrencilerin büyük bir kısmının ağız ve diş hastalıklarının tedavi edilebileceğini bilmesine rağmen, diş doktoruna gitme oranlarının düşük olduğu tesbit edildi. Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen bulgulara yönelik bazı öneriler getirildi.

SUMMARY This research has been conducted on 675 persons from four and five year class students of ten primary schools chosen from 49 primary schools at 8 Nursing homes in Erzurum province. The questionnaire consisting of twenty -six questions has been applied to the students The answers obtained from the questionnaire and clinical findings have been analysed statistically and the results. It has been found that the students haven't get enough know kdge about oral dental health and 35.1 precent of them have preferred pulling instead of having carious in their teeth restored. Although 63.7 percent of the students brush their teeth, it has been found out that their oral hygiene are bad. Though most of the students know that the oral and dental inness will be able to be treated, it has been discovered that the rates of their going to the dentist are low. Some suggestions have been made to the findings obtained from the result of research.
