Erzurum ilindeki kadınların doğal menopoz yaşı ve menopoz yaşını etkileyen faktörler

Abstract

m ÖZET ERZURUM İLİNDEKİ KADINLARIN DO?AL MENOPOZ YAŞI VE MENOPOZ YAŞINI ETKİLEYEN FAKTÖRLER Bu çalışma Erzurum il merkezindeki kadınların doğal menopoz yaşı ve menopoz yaşını etkileyen faktörleri saptamak amacıyla yapılmış tanımlayıcı bir saha çalışmasıdır. Araştırmanın evrenini, Erzurum il merkezinde bulunan 9 sağlık ocağına kayıtlı, 40- 54 yaş grubu kadınlar oluşturmaktadır. Basit rasgele örnekleme yöntemi ile evrenin %3'ü çalışma kapsamına alınmış ve toplam 416 kadın üzerinde çalışılmıştır. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde yüzdelik, M-kare ve varyans analizi kuUamlmıştır. Çalışmamızda, kadınların doğal menopoz yaş ortalaması 45.3 olarak bulunmuştur. Menopoz yaşım etkilediği bilinen faktörlerden ırk, iklim ve beslenmenin yanında, gravida, parke, oral kontraseptif kullanımı, Bady Mass Index (BMI), medeni durum ve sigara kullanımı gibi faktörlerin de etkili olduğu saptanmıştır.

rv SUMMARY THE NATURAL MENOPAUSE AGE OF WOMEN and FACTORS INFLUENCING THE AGE OF MENOPAUSE IN ERZURUM This is a defining field study carried out in order to determine the natural menopause age of women and the factors influencing the age at natural menopause in the city centre of Erzurum. The scope of this study is composed of the women between the age group of 40 and 54 having been registered at 9 public health centers in the city centre. Three percent of the total study scope was taken as study subjects using simple random sampling method and the study was carried out on 416 women totally. In the evaluation of the data, percentage, chi-square and variance analyses were used. The median age of natural menopause for women was found to be 45.3 in our study. It was determined, beside the factors known to influence the menopause age such as race, climate and nutrition, that gravida, parity, oral contraceptive use, BMI (Body Mass Index), marital status and smoking are also influential factors.
