Psikiyatri hastalığı ve hemşireliği dersini almadan önce ve aldıktan sonra öğrencilerin bilgi düzeyleri ve tutumları ile uygulama sonrası bu derse bakış açılarının değişip değişmediğinin araştırılması

Abstract

ÖZET PSİKİYATRİ HASTALIKLARI ve HEMŞİRELİ?İ DERSİNİ ALMADAN ÖNCE ve ALDIKTAN SONRA Ö?RENCİLERİN BİLGİ DÜZEYLERİ ve TUTUMLARI ile UYGULAMA SONRASI BU DERSE BAKIŞ AÇILARININ DE?İŞİP DE?İŞMEDİ?İNİN ARAŞTIRILMASI Hemşirelik Yüksek Okullarına gelen hemşire adayları ruhsal sorunlu hastalara karşı toplumda mevcut olan ön yargılara sahiptirler. Bu çalışmanın amacı hemşire adaylarının Psikiyatri Hastalıkları ve Hemşireliği dersi sonucunda, psikiyatri hemşireliği bilgisi ve söz konusu hastalara karşı tutum ve bakış açılarının değişip değişmediğini saptamaktır. Bu çalışmada İstanbul Üniversitesi Florence Nightingale Hemşirelik Yüksek Okulu (İ.Ü.E.N.H.Y.O), İstanbul Üniversitesi Sağlık Hizmetleri Meslek Yüksek Okulu (İ.Ü.S.H.M.Y.O) ve Atatürk Üniversitesi Erzurum Sağlık Hizmetleri Meslek Yüksek Okulu (A.Ü.E.S.H.M.Y.O) son sınıf öğrencilerinden toplam 95 öğrenci üzerinde yürütüldü. Öğrencilere iki farklı anket uygulandı. Birinci anket her üç okul öğrencilerine Psikiyatri Hastalıkları ve Hemşireliği dersini almadan önce ve aldıktan sonra uygulanarak kendi bilgi düzeyleri ve tutumları arasındaki farklar belirlendi. Elde edilen istatistiki sonuçlara göre, ders öncesi A.Ü.E.S.H.M.Y.O'u öğrencilerinin bilgi düzeyleri ve söz konusu hastalara karşı tutumları diğer iki okula oranla çok düşük çıkarken, ders sonrası aldıkları eğitimle aradaki farkın tamamen giderildiği belirlendi. İkinci anket ise İ.Ü.S.H.M.Y.O'u ve A.Ü.E.S.H.MY.O'u öğrencilerine uygulama sonrası uygulandı. İstatistiksel olarak çıkan sonuçlardan her iki okul öğrencilerinin Psikiyatri Hastalıkları ve Hemşireliğine bakış açılarının olumlu yönde gelişme gösterdiği saptandı.

III SUMMARY Researching Whether The Knowledge Levels and Attitudes of the Students before and after taking Psychiatry Diseases and Nursing Lesson and Their Point of View about This Lesson After Application Have Changed or Not. The nurse candidates coming to Higher Nursing Schools have prejudices existing in the society against the psychologically problematic patients. The purpose of this research is to determine whether the psychiatry nursing knowledge and point of wiew of nurse canditades towards above mentioned patients have changed or not at the end of taking Psychiatry Diseases and Nursing Lesson. This research was carried out on totally 95 last year students from Istanbul Universty Florance Nightingale Nursing Higher School (I.U.F.N.N.H.S), Istanbul University Health Services Vocational Higher School (I.U.H.S.V.H.S) and Atatürk University Erzurum Health Services Vocational Higher School (A.U.E.H.S.VH). Two different questionnaires were applied to the students. The first questionnaire was given to the students of each of the three schools before and after taking Psychiatry Diseases and Nursing Lesson and among their knowledge levels and attitudes was the differences determined, and at the end of the comparison of the statistical results, the differences between the knowledge levels and attitudes among schools were determined. According to the statistical data obtained, as the knowledge level and attitude towards above mentioned patients the students from A.U.E.H.S.V.H.S were found to be lower than those of the other two schools before taking the lesson, the differences among them were eliminated after the education. The second questionnaire was given to the students of I.U.F.N.N.H.S and I.U.H.S.V.H.S after the lesson application. It was determined from the statistical results that point of views of both of the two school students have improved positively towards Psychiatry Diseases and Nursing.
