Avrupa Birliği-Türkiye ilişkileri çerçevesinde Türkiye uluslararası karayolu eşya taşımacılığı sektörünün rekabet gücü analizi

Abstract

Küreselleşme ile beraber dünya ticareti hareketli bir döneme girmiştir. Ülkeler küresel piyasadan daha fazla pay elde edebilmek için rekabet güçlerini arttırmaya yönelik yoğun bir çaba içerisine girerken, bu süreçte ulaştırma belirleyici bir faktör olarak ortaya çıkmıştır. Bulunduğu coğrafi konumu, büyüyen dış ticaret hacmi, artan üretim sahaları, genç nüfusu ve yürüttüğü bölgesel politikalar ile Türkiye, Avrasya lojistik pazarında önemli bir konuma sahiptir. AB müktesebatına uyum süreci ülke nakliyecilerini zorlasa da, bu uygulamalar sektörün yenilikçi, kaliteli ve daha rekabetçi bir yapıya sahip olmasını sağlamıştır.Bu çalışmada Türkiye'nin uluslararası karayolu eşya taşımacılığı sektörünün özellikleri, kapasitesi, potansiyeli ve bölge ülkelerine karşı rekabet gücü ele alınmıştır. Çalışmada, uluslararası karayolu eşya taşımacılığı sektöründe Türkiye'nin rekabet gücüne sahip olduğu ve bir takım süreçleri hızla tamamlarsa, Avrasya ticaretinin en vazgeçilmez lojistik merkezlerinden biri olacağı hipotezi sorgulanmıştır.

With globalization, the world trade entered into the active period. As the countries tried to increase their competitiveness in order to get a better share from world trade, the transportation sector has aroused as an important factor in this process. With its geographical location, growing foreign trade capacity, increasing production, young population and implemented regional policies, Turkey has a significant position in Eurasian logistics? market. Although the harmonization with the EU enforced the country's transporters to implement the acquis communitaire, these implementations made the sector more innovative, higher quality and competitive.In this study, characteristics, capacity, potential and competitiveness of Turkish international road freight transport sector vis-à-vis the countries in the region has been analysed. The hypothesis that Turkey having a competitive edge in road freight transportation, with the prompt completion of certain processes could be one of the indispensable logistics centers of Eurasian trade was tested.
