dc.description.abstractÖZET Toxoplasmasis şüpheli 1232 hasta serumu Toxoplasma antikorları yö nünden ELISA ile araştırıldı. Olguların 308 (% 25)' i seropozitif, 924 (% 75'ü seronegatif bulundu.
Y 1232 patient sera were examined by Enzyme Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) with suspect of Toxoplasmosis. It was found that 308 patients were seropositive and 924 patients seronegative. Positive results were found in 19.5 % of children and 27.6 % of adults. 16.3 % of these positive results were IgG, 4.6 % were IgM and 3.9 % of them were both IgM and IgG types antibodies. Between ELISA and SF tests; SF and IFAT tests correlation were found 88.3 % and 85.7 % respectively. ELISA, IFAT and SF tests sensitivity were found 95.5 %, 90.9 %, 83.3 % respectively. In seropositive cases with ELISA in respect of Toxoplasmosis Rheumatoid Factor (RF) 9.0 % and Anti Nuclear Antibody (ANA) 20.7 % were found positive. In seropositive cases with SF test in respect of Toxoplasmosis, RF 6.1 %,ANA 16.9 % were found positive. In seropositive cases with IFA test in respect of Toxoplasmosis, RF 10.0 %, ANA 17.1 % were found positive.52 In seronegative cases with ELISA in respect of Toxoplasmosis, 6.6 % RF, 3.3 % ANA were found positive. In seronegative cases with SF in respect of Toxoplasmosis 3.3 % RF but ANA seronegative in all. In seropositive patients in respect of RF, T. gondii antibodies were found positive 53.3 % with ELISA and 60 % with SF test. In sero positive patients in respect of ANA, T. gondii antibodies were found positive 36.6 % with ELISA 43.3 % with SF test. In seronegative patients in respect of RF, T. gondii antibodies were found 13.3 % with ELISA and 16.6 % with SF test. In seronegative patients in respect of ANA, T. gondii antibodies were found positive 10.0 % with ELISA and 13.3 % with SF test.en_US
