Kayseri`de 0-5 yaş grubu ishalli çocuklarda Cryptosporidium`un araştırılması

Abstract

ÖZET Bu çalışmada;Erciyes Üniversitesine Ağustos 1991-Ekim 1993 tarihleri arasın da akut ishalle başvuran 0-5 yaş grubu 100 hasta Cryptosporidium spp ve diğer para zitler yönünden araştırıldı. Gaita örnekleri direkt mikroskopik yöntemle ve kalıcı bo yama yöntemleri ile incelendi (Modified Ziehl-Neelsen ve Carbol-fuchsin). Yapılan incelemeler sonucunda ishalli hastaların % 1 Tinde parazit saptandı. Bu hastaların % 4'Unde kalıcı boyama yöntemiyle Cryptosporidium ookistleri bulundu. Ayrıca % 4'Unde Giardia intestinalis, % 3'Unde ise Entemoeba histolytica'ya rastlanıl dı. Yapılan çalışmada akut ishalli vakalarda Cryptosporidiumun ishal etkeni olarak düşünmemiz gerektiği sonucuna varıldı.

SUMMARY A group of 100 patients whose ages differ from 0 to 5 and who have acute diarrhea problem was investigated for Cryptosporidium spp and the other pathogen protozoon's at Erciyes University between the dates August 1991 and October 1993. Stool samples of patients were examined by direct microscopic methods and permanent staining procedures (Modified Ziehl-Neelsen and Carbol fuchsin). As a result of stool examinations, 1 1 % of diarrhea patients were found infected by pathogen protozoon's. Cryptosporidium oocyst Was seen in the 4 % of these patients by using permanent stained procedure. In addition to this, Giardia intestinalis, in 4 % of these patients, and Entamoeba histolytica in 3 % of these patients, were encountered. As a result of this study, it is concluded that Cryptoporidium sp should be considered as an diarrhea agent for diarrheatic patients.
