dc.description.abstract | Bu çalısmada, bayan infertil hastalarda, ksantin oksidaz (XO), paraoksonaz1 (PON1) aktiviteleri,nitrik oksit (NO) düzeyi ve glutatyon peroksidaz (GSH-Px) aktivitesi ölçülmüstür.63 infertil ve 20 saglıklı bayan çalısmaya dahil edilmistir. nfertil bayanlar etiyolojisine göre,açıklanamayan infertil ve polikistik over sendromu (PKOS) olmak üzere iki gruba ayrıldı. XO,PON1, ve GSH-Px aktiviteleri spektrofotometrik yöntemlerle ölçüldü. NO düzeyleri ise ELSAyöntemiyle ölçüldü.Kontrol grubu ile infertil grup karsılastırıldıgında, NO düzeyi ile GSH-Px aktivitelerindeistatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark bulunmadı. Kontrol grubuna göre infertil grupta, XO aktivitesiistatistiksel olarak yüksek, PON1 aktivitesi ise düsük bulundu (p<0.05), NO düzeyi ve GSH-Pxaktivitesi ise kontrol grubuna göre, istatistiksel olarak farksız bulundu. Açıklanamayan infertilgrupta ise kontrol grubuna göre XO aktivitesi yüksek, PON1 aktivitesi ise düsük bulundu (p<0.05),NO düzeyi ve GSH-Px aktivitesi ise kontrol grubuna göre, istatistiksel olarak farksız bulundu.PKOS ile kontrol grubu karsılastırıldıgında XO aktivitesi yüksek, PON1 aktivitesi düsük bulundu(p<0.05), NO düzeyi ve GSH-Px aktivitesi ise kontrol grubuna göre, istatistiksel olarak farksızbulundu. Açıklanamayan infertil grup ile PKOS grubu karsılastırıldıgında XO, PON1, GSH-Pxaktiviteleri ile NO düzeyleri arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı fark bulunmadı.Bayan infertil hastalarda, hem açıklanamayan infertil hasta grubu, hem de PKOS'lularda oksidanbir enzim olan XO aktivitesini yüksek, antioksidan bir enzim olan PON1 aktivitesini düsük, bunakarsılık, NO düzeylerinin ve GSH-Px aktivitesinin normal olarak bulunması, bu hasta gruplarınınoksidatif stres altında bulundugunu ve XO aracılı lipit peroksidasyonunun oldugunu, ayrıca budurumunda özellikle PKOS'lu hastalarda artmıs ateroskleroz ile iliskili olabilecegini düsündürdü.Anahtar Kelimeler: Açıklanamayan infertilite, Polikistik over sendromu, Nitrik oksit, Ksantinoksidaz, Paraoksonaz1 | |
dc.description.abstract | In this study, the xanthine oxidase (XO) and paraoxonase1 (PON1) activities, nitric oxide (NO)levels and glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) activities were measured.63 infertiles and 20 healty women were included in this study. Infertile women were divided in twogroups according to their ethnologies unexplained infertility, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).XO, PON1, GSH-Px levels were measured by the method of spectrophotometer. NO levels weremeasured by the method of ELISA.Comparing infertile group and control group, it wasn?t found out that there was a meaningfuldifference statistically. It was seen that the activity of XO was higher but the activity of PON1 waslower in the infertile group than the control group. It was found out that there were no differencesstatistically in the level of NO and the activity of GSH-Px according to the control group. It wasfound out that the activity of XO was higher but the activity of PON1 was lower in the unexplainedgroup according to the control group (p<0.05) and it was found out that there were no differencesstatistically in the level of NO and the activity of GSH-Px according to the control group.Comparing PCOS and the control group, it was found that the activity of PON1 was lower (p<0.05)and it was found out that there were no differences statistically in the level of NO and the activity ofGSH-Px according to the control group. Comparing the activities of XO, PON1, GSH-Px and thelevel NO, it was found out that there were no differences between them.Finding the activity of XO was high and the activity of PON1 was low but the levels of NO and theactivities of GSH-Px were normal in both unexplained infertile women patient and PCOS, showedus that these women were under oxidative stress and also it had thought us that there was XO lipidperoxidation and it may have related with increased atherosclerosis especially in PCOS.Key Words: Polycystic ovary syndrome, unexplained infertility, nitric oxide, paraoxonase1,xhantine oxidase | en_US |
