Çizgi dizilerde jeneriği tasarımı ve J.R.R Tolkien`in `Ham`li Çiftçi Giles` öyküsü için bir uygulama

Abstract

Televizyonun evlerde yaygınlaşmasından beri, çizgi diziler yaygın bir şekilde üretilmektedir. Çizgi diziler, yayınlanmaya başlamasından ve günümüzdeki formatına dönüşmesinden beri de giriş jeneriği kullanmaktadırlar.Canlandırmanın temel unsurlarını iyi kavramak, hangi teknikler ile hangi platformlarda yayınlandığını bilmek iyi bir giriş jeneriği tasarlayabilmek için bilinmesi gereken unsurlardandır. Bu çalışmanın birinci bölümünde çizgi dizilerin yapımındaki ana unsur olan canlandırma tarihine değinilmektedir. İnternetin hayatımıza girmesinden önce çizgi dizilerin yayınlandığı ortam televizyondur. Televizyon ortamını hedefleyen çizgi dizilerin, tarihi nasıl bir aşamadan geçip hazırlandıklarına ise ikinci bölümde değinilmiştir. Bu inceleme, yayınlandıkları tarihlerde önemli başarılar kazanarak seyircileri etkilemiş çizgi dizilerin çözümlemeleri ile yapılmıştır. İncelenen bu çizgi diziler okuyucunun zaman çizelgesini daha iyi anlayabilmesi için, tarihe göre sıralanmış ve sınıflandırılmıştır.Üçüncü bölümde ise jenerik kavramı incelenmiştir. Çizgi dizilerde jenerik kullanımına girmeden önce, jeneriğin tarihi ve oluşumu incelenmiş daha sonra ise bu kavramın çizgi dizilerde kullanımı araştırılmıştır. Bu bölümde, çizgi dizi giriş jeneriklerinde kullanılan ögeler tema ve biçim çatısı altında ele alınmıştır. Yayınlandıkları süre boyunca başarılı kabul edilen çizgi dizilerin jenerikleri tema ve biçim bakımından incelenmiş, giriş jeneriklerinin bu başarılara katkısı olup olmadığı irdelenmiştir. Bunu yaparken de giriş jeneriği tasarımları, tema ve biçim bakımından farklı yaklaşımlara sahip çizgi diziler seçilmiştir.Uygulama çalışması olarak ise Tolkien'in `Ham'lı Çiftçi Giles` öyküsü çizgi diziye türüne uyarlanmıştır. Daha sonra ise çalışmanın bu aşamasına yapılan araştırmalar sonucunda elde edilen bilgiler doğrultusunda bir giriş jeneriği tasarımı sunulmuştur.

Cartoons have been in our lives since the spread of television at home. Cartoons have been using opening titles since they were broadcast and transformed into their current format.It is necessary to know the basic elements of animation, to know which techniques and which platforms it is published in order to design a decent opening credit. In the first part of this study, animation and its history, which are the main elements in the production of animated series, are mentioned.Before the internet entered our lives, television was the medium where cartoon series were broadcast. The historical stage and preparation of the animated series targeting the television environment are not mentioned in the second part. This review has been made by analyzing the animated series that have influenced the audience by achieving significant success on the dates of their broadcasting. These line sequences examined are sorted and classified according to date in order for the reader to better understand the timetable.In the third part, the concept of generic is examined. Before entering the use of generics in cartoon series, the history and formation of the credits were examined and then the use of this concept in cartoon series was investigated. In this section, the elements used in the animated series introductory credits are discussed under the umbrella of theme and style. The generics of the animated series, which were considered successful during their broadcasting period, were examined in terms of theme and style, and whether the introductory opening intro contributed to these successes was examined. While doing this, cartoon series with different approaches in terms of introductory credits designs, theme and form were chosen.As an implementation work, Tolkien's story `Farmer Giles with Ham` was adapted to the cartoon genre. Then, the opening credits design was presented with the information obtained as a result of the research carried out at this stage of the study.
