Emr bi`l-maruf ve nehy ani`l-münker

Abstract

SUMMARY al-Amr bi'l-mafruf wa nahy Vni'l-munkar (Comittee for the dving of good and the avoiding of evil) is a fard al-kifaye (it is a duty) for muslims according to their power as a referring of individual and communal and improving of intellectual, creed and cultur of muslims. The importance and merit of this duty is explicitly staded in the Qur'an and the Sayings of Prophet.The fulfilling of an extremely important duty should be in the light of the Qur'an and the Sunnah.So there are some conditiens for: the committee for the diving of good and the avoiding of evil. For this reason it is possible to say to al-amr bi'l-ma*ruf wa nahy `uni f 1-munkar a construction of `creed` as a civilization, So it is mistake to deal with a comprehensive duty at the indivi dual level and with a simple under standing. On the 'other hand.this duty is an effort for improving of culture and civilization based on islamic moral and merit.
